The Right Path for Saiyans

Watching Son Goku cry out in alarm nonstop, Li Wei rolled his eyes and complained, "Don't you have Senzu Beans on you? Hurry up and feed him one! Do you really think I'm some kind of healer?!"

Son Goku froze for a moment before suddenly realizing it. He hurriedly searched himself and eventually pulled out two Senzu Beans.

"Vegeta, these are Senzu Beans. Hurry and eat one!" Son Goku stuffed a Senzu Bean into Vegeta's mouth.

As the Senzu Bean entered his mouth, the unconscious Vegeta regained some vitality. Instinctively, he chewed up the bean and swallowed it.

The moment the Senzu Bean reached his stomach, Vegeta, who had been gravely wounded and on the verge of death, instantly recovered at full health!

Vegeta abruptly opened his eyes and saw a golden-haired Son Goku looking at him in delight.

"You're... Kakarot? You... why has your hair turned gold?" Vegeta asked in shock.

Son Goku smiled and explained, "Oh, according to Li Wei, this form of mine is called Super Saiyan."

"What?! Super Saiyan?!" Vegeta was so startled that he leaped to his feet, shouting in disbelief.

"Super Saiyan?!"

Having heard an incredible title, Nappa hurriedly turned to look at Son Goku as well.

"The golden warrior... There's no mistake. That's the legendary Super Saiyan!"

"Kakarot... is actually a Super Saiyan!" Amid his shock, Nappa suddenly felt somewhat relieved.

No wonder Kakarot had surpassed both him and Vegeta. He was a Super Saiyan, so it wasn't strange at all!

"Kakarot... You're actually a Super Saiyan! That's impossible!" Vegeta shook his head repeatedly, unwilling to accept this cruel reality.

Li Wei ignored Son Goku and the others. His gaze fell upon Broly, who was still lying on the ground, and he fired a ball of light from his palm, healing Broly.

Broly slowly stood up, his face still full of lingering fear. There was even more dread in his eyes as he looked at Li Wei.

"Broly, stay by my side from now on. I'll teach you how to control your power."

"As for you?" Li Wei glanced at Paragus and said with a smile, "My company happens to need a CEO to do the work. You can take the position!"

"Yes, Lord Li Wei." Paragus lowered his head and answered respectfully. Though he had no idea what a CEO was, when facing a powerful being like Li Wei, obedience was the right choice.

After dismissing Paragus, Li Wei turned back to Vegeta, who was still shocked and incredulous. Walking over with a smile, he asked, "Well, Vegeta? Aren't you jealous that Son Goku can transform into a Super Saiyan?"

At those words, Vegeta silently clenched his fists, his eyes filled with unwillingness.

"There's no need to be so pessimistic. Super Saiyan is merely one transformation of the Saiyans, just like how you transform into Great Apes. In theory, all Saiyans can become Super Saiyans through later training," Li Wei said.

"Really?!" A gleam flashed through Vegeta's eyes as he looked at Li Wei expectantly.

Nappa was the same. If he could transform into a Super Saiyan, he wanted that too.

Seeing this, Li Wei raised his chin but deliberately kept them in suspense, asking teasingly, "What? You want to become Super Saiyans too?"

"Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm!!"

Vegeta and Nappa nodded repeatedly.

"Lord Li Wei... please tell me how to transform into a Super Saiyan!" Vegeta lowered his head and said.

"I beg you as well, Lord Li Wei!" Nappa lowered his head too, pleading.

"Since your attitudes are so sincere, I'll tell you the method. There are mainly two ways to transform into a Super Saiyan..." Li Wei explained the methods of transformation to Vegeta and Nappa.

"Through anger... or a peaceful heart?" Vegeta frowned and asked, "Lord Li Wei, I understand anger well enough, but a peaceful heart? Do Saiyans even have such a thing?"

Li Wei smiled and pointed at Son Goku and Broly. "Both of them have peaceful hearts, though due to his constitution, Broly's peaceful heart only counts as half of one."

Vegeta shot Son Goku a disdainful look, then gave Broly a wary glance as his fists silently tightened.

"So Nappa and I can only transform into Super Saiyans through anger?" Vegeta asked.

Li Wei nodded, then shook his head. "Anger is indeed necessary to become a Super Saiyan, but a portion of a peaceful heart is needed as well."

"You Saiyans have already gone down the wrong path. True Saiyans are warlike yet peace-loving, while you..."

Li Wei gave Vegeta and Nappa a disgusted look and rebuked them, "You used to simply revel in slaughter and battle. That was completely demonic behavior, and you've utterly strayed from the Saiyan essence."

"Not just you two—even your entire Saiyan race has gone down the wrong path. That's why your race has grown weaker and weaker," Li Wei said.

"Gone down the wrong path?" Nappa was puzzled.

"Saiyans... are warlike and peace-loving?" Vegeta's eyes widened even further. Was this person really talking about Saiyans?

Seeing their reactions, Li Wei knew they did not believe him at all.

"Looks like I'll need to show you what true Saiyans are like before you can settle down and properly temper your state of mind."

Li Wei's gaze swept over the four of them. "Among you four, only Son Goku barely meets the standard in terms of mentality. Vegeta, Nappa, Broly—you three are nothing more than immature children."

Vegeta frowned. "The universe is just the universe. What name could it possibly have?"

Li Wei smiled and wagged a finger. "The universe we live in was named Universe 7 by the gods."

"Universe 7?"

Everyone cried out in surprise, their faces full of disbelief.

"The gods?"

Vegeta muttered the term to himself, unable to keep from frowning.

The moment he heard the word "god," he could not help recalling the shadow of his childhood—the terrifying being known as the God of Destruction, Beerus!
