Android Crisis

A few days later.

Trunks had begun to settle into this world.

Bulma was delighted to have gained an eldest son for free. Although Vegeta said nothing, he had accepted Trunks as his son in his heart as well.

The only unhappy one was probably Little Te. In order to distinguish between the two Trunks, Little Trunks had simply changed his name to Little Te.

That day.

Trunks gazed into the distance and slowly slung his longsword over his back.

Mai noticed that something was off about Trunks. Given how well she knew him, she had probably already guessed what he intended to do.

"Are you planning to eliminate Dr. Gero ahead of time?" Mai asked.

Trunks nodded. "Although the androids probably won't pose much of a threat to everyone in this world anymore, it's better to nip the threat in the bud before anything unexpected happens!"

"Is that why you didn't tell Uncle Vegeta and the others about the androids?" Mai asked.

Trunks gave a soft hum. "With Dad's personality, if he knew, he definitely wouldn't let me do this."

"There are differences between worlds. Dad and the others in this world are so strong, so the androids in this world might also be incredibly powerful. To avoid unnecessary sacrifices, I'll be the one to cut off this evil at its root!"

Trunks's gaze was resolute as he said slowly, "Mai, I'm going!"

Mai smiled warmly. "Go, Trunks. I'll cover for you with Aunt Bulma and Uncle Vegeta."

"Mm, thank you, Mai!" Trunks embraced Mai deeply, then set off with a solemn expression.

Dr. Gero's research base.

"Thankfully, the location of Dr. Gero's base hasn't changed due to the differences between worlds." Trunks slowly drew the longsword from his back, then kicked open the doors to Dr. Gero's laboratory.

Dr. Gero, who had yet to modify himself into an android, stared at the suddenly intruding Trunks and demanded in shock and fury, "Who are you?"

Trunks looked coldly at Dr. Gero. Without wasting a single word, he beheaded Dr. Gero with one slash!

After killing Dr. Gero, Trunks searched the laboratory inside and out. He found quite a few failed android experiments, but did not find the Android 17 and Android 18 he knew.

"Had Dr. Gero not captured them yet?" Trunks frowned and thought for a moment before figuring it out.

"I wonder if Cell has been created yet." Following his memories, Trunks found the incubation chamber where Cell had been created.

"So Cell's creation had indeed already begun?" Trunks looked at Cell's embryo in the incubation chamber before him, his eyes turning cold.

Boom!!

After a tremendous explosion, Dr. Gero's laboratory was leveled, and everything within it was destroyed!

"I wonder if Cell from this world's future has come here yet?" Trunks frowned and once again followed his memories toward a certain location.

"No!"

Trunks looked around but found no time machine that had arrived in this world from the future. He could not help but sigh in relief.

"It seems Cell from this world's future hasn't arrived yet. Or perhaps... because of the differences between worlds, he won't come at all!" Trunks guessed.

"Forget it. This world doesn't have Android 17 or Android 18. Even if Cell comes, he'll only be a stray dog with nowhere to turn. Nothing to fear!"

Reassured, Trunks turned and returned to West City.

Time passed slowly.

In the blink of an eye, three years went by.

Earth had been very peaceful during those three years. In the universe, under Li Wei's orders, Frieza and his father had diligently conquered planets before establishing proper laws, bringing normal order to the universe. At the very least, it was no longer complete chaos.

During those three years, Trunks and Mai also had a daughter. Bulma named her Buwei.

Just as everyone enjoyed their peaceful lives, a threat from another spacetime quietly descended.

Somewhere on Earth.

Fuyu descended into this world. He looked around and grinned. "So this is the world where that silver giant lives? You really made me search hard."

Fuyu casually took out a scroll and slowly unfurled it!

A flash of black light appeared, and a fifty-meter-tall black giant materialized before Fuyu.

This giant looked eighty or ninety percent similar to Noa. Other than lacking Noa's Wings on his back, he was practically an exact copy of Noa!

"The ultimate android created by combining the power of that silver giant, Cumber's evil aura, and Kobi Planet's technology—Dark Giant!"

Fuyu adjusted the glasses on the bridge of his nose and smiled. "Go make a good mess and provide data for my experiment. Then... the experiment begins!"

"Go destroy, Dark Giant!"

As soon as he spoke, Fuyu teleported away from this spacetime.

A vicious glint flashed through Dark Giant's scarlet pupils as he roared and flew toward the nearest human settlement!

Meanwhile.

Li Wei was traveling across the universe with Ikaros, experiencing the local customs of different planets, and had not been paying attention to what was happening on Earth.

After all, with Earth's current fighting power, what boss could show up without getting slapped twice first?

So Li Wei had gone into the universe with Ikaros for their honeymoon without a care in the world.

A city was reduced to ruins. A Dark Giant stood amid a sea of flames, like a God of Destruction bringing annihilation!

The Dark Giant threw back his head and roared, then swiftly flew toward the next city!

Noah's Temple.

Son Goku and Vegeta were sparring, while Trunks, transformed into a Super Saiyan, was sparring against Cumber in his base form.

Just then.

All four of them abruptly froze.

Trunks's expression turned serious as he looked toward a certain direction in shock. "For a moment just now, so many people's ki disappeared!"

Son Goku also looked grave and nodded. "Yeah, and there's an extremely evil ki."

Vegeta snorted. "Some bastard must have snuck onto this planet. He really doesn't take us seriously!"

Cumber frowned as he sensed the distant ki and murmured, "This evil ki... feels so familiar!"

"Dad, Uncle Goku, Mr. Cumber, now isn't the time to worry about who the enemy is. We need to get over there and stop him!" Trunks said anxiously.

"Yeah. Vegeta, let's go!" Son Goku said, already taking to the air and shooting into the distance!

"Tch! Don't order me around!" Vegeta curled his lips in displeasure, then immediately chased after him!

Trunks followed close behind.

Watching the others leave, Cumber turned toward Broly, who stood beneath the statue as though rooted in place, and loudly asked, "Broly, aren't you going to take a look? It seems pretty interesting!"

Broly slowly opened his eyes, glanced in the direction the evil ki was coming from, thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay!"

Now it was Cumber's turn to be surprised. He had only mentioned it casually. Based on what he knew about Broly, the other man should have calmly replied: Not interested.

Yet Broly had actually agreed.
