Sarutobi Hiruzen, however, put away his earlier anxious look.
Namikaze Minato said nothing.
Because he knew someone else had certainly come as well.
"Have I just heard a joke?" Shimura Danzō appeared under the protection of several Root ninja. "Is this kind of battle considered 'making a move'? The facts are still unclear. The Uchiha Clan would do well not to return to its former ways."
He looked toward the distant mist, displeased.
I told you to settle down. Is this how you settle down?
Orochimaru absolutely could not be allowed to come to harm. That was his bottom line.
Without Orochimaru, not only would the experiments be affected, but many other matters would become inconvenient as well.
Root might look impressive, but its core members were pitifully few. It relied entirely on a crowd of temporary hands to make up its numbers.
The advantage, though, was that once temporary hands had outlived their usefulness, they could be eliminated without any hesitation.
