Demon Race Sovereign

Fuxi was an innate divine being, the elder brother of Nuwa, and one of the Demon Race's foremost figures. During the Witch–Demon conflict, he used the River Diagram and Luo Script to probe heavenly secrets and investigate the Primordial World's mysteries. 60 480

Fuxi served as one of the Demon Race Heavenly Court's principal commanders. During a battle atop Mount Buzhou, Di Jun entrusted him with command of the remaining Heavenly Court forces and ordered him to establish a grand formation sealing the battlefield and prepare a route of retreat. 111

As a Quasi-Saint, Fuxi attempted to deduce Pangu and suffered severe Great Dao backlash, leaving his magic power exhausted and his condition beyond even Nuwa's full treatment. 221 227 Despite this injury, he proposed drawing upon the Sun, Moon, and heavenly stars—remnants of Pangu's legacy—to oppose the Witch Race's Twelve Heavenly Gods Baleful Formation. 227

He subsequently deduced the Stellar Grand Formation, using the Sun and Moon as hubs, 365 principal stars as formation eyes, and 14,800 auxiliary stars to channel Pangu's power from the heavens. 228 The formation later withstood the first two strikes of Pangu's phantom, though its operation exhausted Fuxi and cost the Demon Race twelve Zenith Heaven immortals. 365

Fuxi also participated in examining and deducing the incompleteness of Di Jun's Witch-Slaying Sword. Together with Di Jun, Kunpeng, and Bai Ze, he used the River Diagram and Luo Script to investigate the sword's power. 390

Fuxi was eventually killed by Tianwu, the Ancestral Witch of Wind. His body was destroyed, his Primordial Spirit scattered, and his Dao Fruit shattered; Demon Saint Feilian died beside him while attempting to shelter under Fuxi's protection. 404

Reincarnation

Nuwa preserved Fuxi's complete true spirit and arranged for Xuandu to protect his reincarnation path. Yellow Dragon and Xuandu escorted the true spirit to the Underworld, where Houtu sent it into the Human Path through the Six Paths Reincarnation Disc. 451 454

Xuandu did not immediately teach Fuxi or interfere with the growth of his first reincarnated body. Instead, he waited for each incarnation to complete its life before bringing Fuxi's true spirit back to the Underworld and sending it into another Human Race life. 451 462

Fuxi underwent several hundred Human Race reincarnations over nearly one yuanhui. Each life converted part of the fortune remaining from his innate-divine-being and Demon Emperor identity into Human Race fortune, strengthening humanity and producing more cultivation geniuses. 466

His final reincarnation entered the Human Path whole rather than dispersing into golden specks. By then, his former Demon Race fortune had completely merged into Human Race fortune, making him wholly human in destiny. 466

Final Human Race Life

Fuxi was born to Huaxu amid extraordinary heavenly phenomena. Xuandu used a Ginseng Fruit to nourish Huaxu, concealed Fuxi's aura with the Mystic Yellow Exquisite Pagoda, named him, and later accepted him as a disciple. 471

As a child in the Huaxu Tribe, Fuxi observed spiders weaving webs and created the first fishing net from hemp rope. At seven, he formally began cultivating under Xuandu, first mastering the Great Dao script before learning cultivation methods. He mastered the script within a few months, displaying comprehension beyond Xuandu's expectations. 472

Fuxi developed the Huaxu Tribe by teaching celestial observation, weather prediction, terrain reading, and methods of finding water. He also unified Human Race worship around Nuwa, the Supreme Pure Sage, and the Divine Dragon totem. 472

Through his cultivation and governance, the Huaxu Tribe grew from a small settlement into the strongest Human Race tribe in its region. Fuxi was eventually recommended to replace Huaxu Lie as its chief while still barely more than ten years old. 472

Rise as Human Leader

Fuxi created Written Records so the Human Race could preserve and transmit its knowledge and experience. 477 He established marriage rites, rites and music, and ancestor sacrifices, turning the Huaxu Tribe into a center of Human Race culture. 478

He shared these institutions with visiting tribes, led campaigns to reclaim Human Race land, and personally destroyed powerful demon beasts threatening nearby settlements. His campaigns eliminated or subjugated several hostile races, including the Mastiff Clan, while newly conquered lands were settled by Human Race tribes. 478

Fuxi also created the Qi Refining Art, allowing ordinary humans to begin cultivation through a system adapted to their bodies and limited resources. As the method spread, Human Race cultivators expanded the race's territory and defeated many of the foreign races that had previously oppressed humanity. 481

His achievements brought surrounding tribes under his rule, and the Human Race ancestral land at Mount Shouyang invited him to command the entire race as co-ruler. 479

At the River of Time, Fuxi recovered the memories of his former life and hundreds of reincarnations. He chose to abandon his former quasi-Saint Dao Fruit rather than return to being the Demon Race's Fuxi, affirming his identity as Fuxi of the Human Race. 480

Human Emperor and Fire Cloud Cave

After Kunpeng relinquished the River Diagram and Luo Script, Fuxi refined the treasures and used them to perfect his Dao of heavenly-secret deduction. 487 He later worked with Yellow Dragon and Xuandu to perfect the Circumstellar Star Array over ten thousand years. 488

Fuxi participated in reviving the stars of the heavens and establishing the Four Seasons Cycle of Reincarnation. These achievements earned him additional Heavenly Dao merit, allowed him to fully refine the remaining restrictions of the River Diagram and Luo Script, and deepened his insight into heavenly secrets and the Great Dao of fate. 498 499 510

He later created the Innate Eight Trigrams Great Dao, receiving vast Heavenly Dao merit without immediately breaking into the Quasi-Saint realm. 509

Xuandu gave Fuxi the Kongtong Seal, allowing him to refine and merge the Human Race's accumulated fortune with his own destiny. 511 Fuxi then declared himself Human Emperor, receiving recognition from the Human Race, Nuwa, the Supreme Pure Sage, the Three Ancestors, and Yellow Dragon. His Dao Fruit ripened, elevating him to the Early Quasi-Saint realm. 512 513 514

When Primordial Violet Qi appeared during his ascension, Nuwa froze the void and prevented other Quasi-Saints from interfering. Fuxi absorbed the Violet Qi, ignited his merit and Human Race fortune, severed and unified his three corpses, and reached the Sub-Saint realm after the Violet Qi shattered before he could attain Sainthood. 516 517

Fuxi ruled as Human Emperor for ten thousand years. By decree of the Supreme Pure Sage and Nuwa, he became the Human Race's Heavenly Emperor and entered the sealed Fire Cloud Cave, where he suppresses Human Race fortune so future Human Emperors can arise. 517 531 534 535

The departure separated Fuxi from the Human Race's ordinary affairs but did not end his service to humanity. He entrusted the Human Race to Lieshan, while roughly one hundred followers and several million ordinary humans accompanied him into Fire Cloud Cave. 534

Within the grotto-heaven, Yellow Dragon later gave Fuxi and Shennong the Kunhua Tree. They planted it at the center of Fire Cloud Cave, where it absorbed celestial power and converted it into innate spiritual energy, anchoring the grotto-heaven's spirit veins and strengthening its laws. 623

Yellow Dragon also gave Fuxi a jade slip containing his insights into the Circumstellar Star Array. Fuxi recognized that combining those principles with the River Diagram and Luo Script could make the array exceptionally powerful. 623

Appearance

Fuxi's appearance changes with the stages of his Human Race life. He first appears as a young man in his twenties with the faint bearing of a leader; after refining the Kongtong Seal for a century, he takes on the solemn appearance and majesty of a middle-aged ruler. 477 511

He is humble in leadership and seeks counsel when making decisions with lasting consequences. Before establishing marriage rites, he approached Yellow Dragon for guidance rather than imposing his idea unilaterally. 478
