Background

Cui Jianhao appears at Eastern Martial Arts Hall as a wealthy, influential trainee surrounded by followers whom Dongfang Yinyin identifies as bodyguards. He arrives in an expensive “Red Qilin Super Dazzling True Color” training uniform and initially dismisses Pei Shao as Yinyin’s servant or lackey. He is accustomed to commanding others and treats the trainees’ admiration as routine rather than sincere appreciation. 36 37

Seeking to win a date with Dongfang Yinyin, Cui wagers that he can kick through three steel plates in one blow. The feat is enabled by concealed electromagnetic equipment rather than martial skill; Castle identifies the deception, though Pei initially hesitates to expose it. When Pei challenges him to provide ten plates instead, Cui secretly has a subordinate place his phone in Pei’s running path to sabotage him. 37 39 40

Pei and Castle destroy the stacked plates and Cui’s electromagnetic setup, forcing Cui to cancel the promised date. Humiliated and financially damaged, Cui joins A Zheng and Zhang Huaiyuan in targeting Pei, including hiring underground boxing champion Kai to challenge Eastern Martial Arts Hall. 41 42 44
