Wrench's words were truly a vicious attack on both body and soul, causing an uproar among the surrounding Autobots who had gathered to watch.

Ironhide, known for his fiery temper, was furious. He abruptly raised a foot, then stomped it down hard on Wrench's head.

"Shut up, you traitor who attacked your comrades and assaulted a vital facility. You should be sent before a military tribunal, then hauled off to the mines for seventy years of hard labor!"

The Autobot military tribunal generally imposed only two kinds of punishment on criminals: execution and hard labor.

Execution was usually reserved for deserters, traitors, and Autobot commanders who had made grave mistakes on the battlefield.

Hard labor, on the other hand, was used more broadly. It could be imposed on criminals guilty of dereliction of duty, theft, or violations of the law, though the terms ranged from several years to several centuries.

Attacking comrades and assaulting vital facilities were already considered serious crimes under Autobot law.

If this had been during the civil war, Wrench would have received at least three hundred years of hard labor.

Well, that was under Optimus Prime's leadership.

Under Sentinel Prime's rule, execution would have been unavoidable.

Wrench snorted coldly and roared, "You lackeys aiding a tyrant will all receive the most righteous punishment from the council sooner or later!"

Optimus Prime shook his head. Looking at them, he said to Ironhide, "Take them away and lock them up for now. Once Goldbug finishes the investigation, they'll be tried according to the results."

Ironhide nodded. After signaling Jolt and several Autobots from the patrol unit, a team quickly hauled away the still-cursing Wrench, along with the other Autobots who had assaulted the medical center, and escorted them to the nearest outpost for temporary detention.
