The Beginning of Chaos

Chicago, at the headquarters of an obscure technology company—KSI.

Several armored vehicles marked with FBI lettering escorted two heavy trucks slowly into KSI's underground parking garage.

Inside the garage, squads of fully armed security personnel clad in black SWAT gear stood guard, waiting for the convoy's arrival.

Once the convoy entered the underground garage, a bald middle-aged white man in his forties, dressed in a suit, quickly approached with a smile under the protection of two security guards.

The door of an armored vehicle marked FBI opened, but out came a squad of soldiers wearing standard U.S. military uniforms, except their shoulder patches bore the words [Cemetery Wind].

A black officer with the rank of lieutenant stepped forward at their head, his expression stern. "Mr. President, it's been a long time!"

The bald white man smiled and shook his hand. "Lieutenant, welcome. How many good things have you brought this time?"

The black lieutenant's expression darkened somewhat. He raised his right hand and pointed his thumb toward the two heavy trucks behind him.

"Two Decepticon Replica Soldiers. We sacrificed more than a hundred soldiers to take them down!"

The bald white man did not care in the slightest how many American soldiers had died. He perfunctorily said, "I'm sorry to hear that," then hurried impatiently toward the heavy trucks.

The black lieutenant's expression grew even uglier, but there was nothing he could do.

He had dealt with KSI for a long time. From some of the intelligence he had obtained, it was not difficult to see that KSI was affiliated with either the military or the CIA—perhaps it was simply a front for a secret military research organization.

The black lieutenant was a veteran who had joined during the NEST era. However, after Major William Lennox and Captain Robert Epps
