Meeting (Final)

Beneath a deserted seaside cliff along the West African coastline.

More than a dozen mechanical warriors, each like a giant, stood waiting in silence, ignoring the raging waves that periodically crashed in from the sea.

"They're here!"

Ratchet suddenly spoke.

Though he was the Autobots' medic, he also possessed formidable sensory and detection abilities.

No sooner had Ratchet finished speaking than all the Autobots beneath the cliff saw a black dot appear in the sky some distance away.

More than ten seconds later, a rather intimidating small spacecraft slowly descended, finally coming to a stop above the sea beneath the cliff.

Amid the shocked gazes of many Autobots, its body rapidly shifted, soon transforming into a towering mechanical giant only slightly less than half a head shorter than Optimus Prime.

The newcomer was Sun Cheng!

"Lord Optimus Prime, and everyone of the Autobots, it has been a long time!"

Sun Cheng gave Optimus Prime and the Autobots a slight nod of greeting, his gaze lingering for two extra seconds on several of Optimus Prime's followers behind him.

They're all familiar faces!

He chuckled inwardly, though his expression remained unchanged.

Optimus Prime returned his goodwill with a smile. "Lord Frenzy, welcome!"

Sun Cheng's decision to attend the meeting alone was itself a gesture of goodwill.

Otherwise, one only had to look at the Autobots' preparations to know that they, too, feared Sun Cheng might develop ill intentions because of Optimus Prime's self-imposed exile.

"I won't repeat any unnecessary words. Lord Optimus Prime, I believe you know very well why I suddenly wished to meet with you."

Optimus Prime's expression turned grave. He nodded slightly and waited for Sun Cheng to continue.
