The hunt had begun!

The Decepticon Replica Soldiers, who had wreaked havoc and vented their brutality throughout Cairo, did not panic at the arrival of the Egyptian military.

On the contrary, now that they had finally found a force daring enough to resist them, these vile bastards became even more frenzied.

Iron Guard 174th Division was a decorated unit that had followed the founding fathers of the Egyptian Republic in overthrowing the monarchy and establishing the republic.

Although the 174th Division had been utterly crushed by Israel during several later Middle Eastern revolutions, it still received substantial national resources after the war.

After the war, the 174th Division became Egypt's first armored division. Equipped with M1A1 main battle tanks, it was stationed at a military base just sixteen kilometers from downtown Cairo.

They were among the first Egyptian forces to arrive in support after Cairo came under attack.

Thanks to the powerful engines of their American-made tanks, although the roads into the city were jammed with congested vehicles, the 174th Division only lost a little extra time. After four tanks suffered track damage and other malfunctions, most of the division entered the city.

The Replica Soldier Corps spotted them immediately. The three Dreads—Crankcase, Hatchet, and Crowbar—each elite warriors and equally bloodthirsty, took the lead as they transformed into Predacon forms and charged roaring toward the 174th Division.

Like the Triple Changers, they possessed three forms: vehicle form, Predacon form, and combat form.

This was because they had originally been experimental subjects from Starscream's research into the Triple Changer project.

There were many factions within the Decepticon Corps. The strongest was undoubtedly Megatron's faction, which controlled more than ninety percent of the entire Decepticon Corps' strength.

Within this faction, Megatron represented absolute military might and authority.

Shockwave was Megatron's right-hand man.
