"Was that really a teleportation device... Sentinel Prime could actually transport Autobots directly to Earth from several light-years away?"
When the drone transmitted the footage it had captured to a fleet that had just entered the Mediterranean Sea, Sun Cheng saw the astonishing scene at once.
"Transporting Autobots to Earth from distant Cybertron, several light-years away?"
Thunder, who was beside him, widened his eyes, his face equally full of disbelief.
Sun Cheng frowned and nodded slightly.
Anyone with even a basic concept of distance knew what a light-year represented.
Just look at the Autobots and Decepticons. The Decepticons and Autobots who had arrived on Earth years ago, or even earlier, had already sent Earth's coordinates back to Cybertron.
Yet even now, the number of Autobots and Decepticons able to reach Earth each month remained sparse.
The reason Optimus Prime's Autobot faction had received over a thousand Autobots in succession over the past two years was also because the Autobots stranded on one of Cybertron's moons had run out of resources after losing the civil war.
In order to preserve their entire race, Optimus Prime had ordered the Autobots more than a century ago to freely travel throughout the universe in search of resources and their missing former leader, Sentinel Prime.
Thus, the Autobots who had come to join him over the past few years were all wanderers who had left Cybertron over the previous century under that order and drifted into star systems near the Solar System.
If they truly set out from Cybertron, the Cybertronians had discovered and mastered some legendary wormholes, allowing them to save some travel time.
But crossing several light-years in only a few months was something that even Cybertronian technology at the height of its civilization might not have been able to achieve.
