Around noon, Hermione and Harry came to the Hospital Ward again, but Ron did not come with them. It was unclear whether he wanted to avoid further humiliation or was still sulking.

He intended to clear Sirius's name, which meant Sirius would at least have to return the wand he had seized in Azkaban. After all, it belonged to an Auror.
Jacob's wand could be left for Sirius to use.
"Really?" Harry looked up in delighted surprise, happy not only for himself but also for his godfather.
"Of course. Consider it a belated Christmas present from me." Vaughn smiled and nodded. Exchanging wands was not particularly complicated. They only needed to cast the Disarming Charm on each other for ownership of the wands to change.
Harry was in an excellent mood after getting his own wand back. He had never felt so fond of it before. Stroking its shaft, he looked up expectantly and asked, "Hermione said you're attending the Council of Wizarding Sages. Can we come and watch?"
