Harry's crisis was temporarily averted, though the people circling around him left him with no chance to break away and check on the Golden Snitch.

Ron finally stopped keeping his binoculars trained on Harry.

However, while watching the battle for the Quaffle on the other side, he happened to spot Snape in the Slytherin stands.

"Merlin, what's that old bat doing there too?"

Hagrid asked curiously, "Old bat? Who?"

"Professor Snape!"

Hagrid gave a short laugh, then quickly caught on and said sternly, "Ron, you're not allowed to call a professor that, even though he really is... Anyway, Dumbledore trusts him!"

"I don't trust him. Look at the way he's glaring at Harry. If he got the chance, I wouldn't doubt for a second that he'd cast a curse on him!"

Up in the air, the restrictions hemming Harry in continued, growing even more chaotic!

Fred clearly couldn't take on two Slytherins by himself, so George had no choice but to rush over and help. But Flint and Adrian Pucey seemed determined; no matter how the twins provoked them, they refused to leave Harry's side.

The four of them tangled together, turning Harry's view into a complete mess.

Worse still, he suddenly felt as though his broom had gone out of control. It swayed wildly from side to side, as if it no longer wanted to carry anyone.

In the distance, Vaughan disrupted Gryffindor's attack once again with the Bludger. When he glanced at Harry, his expression turned strange.

"Socket Man made his move after all? Just how much does he hate Harry..."
