That merged Soul Power was reacting to the space before him.

Emotion Shakes Heaven created a special Spatial Layer that trapped its target. That was why Jiang Yue wanted to add a number of Soul Rings from spatial-type Soul Beasts to his two Martial Souls.

He hoped this would strengthen the Spatial Layer, letting Emotion Shakes Heaven hold enemies longer in the future—or even seal them inside it forever.

Jiang Yue had yet to act on that idea, but the Spatial Power before him had already captivated his mind.
