Background

The Passionate Sword awakened independently when six-year-old Jiang Yue faced the evil soul master responsible for massacring his village. It manifested with the Unfeeling Sword as Jiang Yue’s twin martial souls, and their resonance allowed him to unleash Emotion Shakes Heaven, killing the two-ring attacker at the cost of exhausting himself completely 1.

When Jiang Yue first displayed it to the mysterious elder, the sword appeared as a silver-white longsword bearing a crimson line from hilt to tip. The elder identified its spiritual fluctuations as extraordinary, judged its quality no lower than the Seven Kill Sword, and initially recommended an assault-type path.
