The Strange Weapon then widened the rift, pouring out more Underworld mist as the weapon, Luo Yunji, and the chains became locked in a stalemate.

• Gray-black smoke from the Strange Weapon sank into the ground and formed Strange Objects that resisted the spells of Daoxuan, Tian Buyi, and Su Ru.

Fifth Senior Brother Lu Daxin endured the golden paper merging with his arm to suppress the Strange Weapon and was carried back to recover.

• Zhang Xiaofan used Buddhist swastika seals to destroy the Strange Object and seal the spatial crack, while Luo Yunji and Fifth Senior Brother attacked the Strange Weapon and chains.
• After the chains stopped moving and became two sheets of paper, they projected golden and black patterns into the sky, prompting Daoxuan True Person to say becoming immortal seemed real.

After Lu Daxin survived sealing the Strange Weapon inside his left arm, Tian Buyi explained the danger to Daoxuan True Person, who wondered what the sacrifice would mean for his future. The adults then discovered that Luo Yunji had activated Big Bamboo Peak’s illusory formation, trapping Tian Buyi and Tian Linger inside while Su Ru admitted she barely knew how it worked.

• Su Ru treated Lu Daxin and left Zhang Xiaofan and Du Bishu to care for him while Tian Linger dragged Luo Yunji away.
• Tian Buyi told Daoxuan True Person that Lu Daxin had sealed the escaped Strange Weapon inside his left arm, and Daoxuan worried about the burden Lu Daxin would face.

He learned that all the papers might be needed to reveal the full clue, and he and his Senior Brothers speculated that there could be one for each of the Five Seas.

• Wen Min and Zeng Shushu realized that Luo Yunji had looked down at people bathing, and Zhang Xiaofan hurriedly took Luo Yunji away into the clouds.
• Zhang Xiaofan and Luo Yunji returned to Two Mountains and told Zhou Yixian about the image projected by the golden and black papers.

Zhang Xiaofan and his senior brothers sought information about the Five Seas, while Zhou Yixian prepared to flee the Food Mansion after divining that he would die if he stayed. Long Zi revealed that the Five Seas were deadly and that even the Black Serpent could not approach the Heartless Sea’s core.

• Zhou Yixian packed to escape the Food Mansion, convinced his divination foretold his death if he stayed, and Xiaohuan reluctantly began packing with him.
• He Dazhi, Wu Dayi, and Zhang Xiaofan discussed searching for the Five Seas and decided Zhou Yixian was their only lead, so they planned to take him to see their Master.
