• Luo Yunji evacuated Sanfu Town and set up defenses as a blood-red barrier sealed the Huqi Mountains, trapping him and the remaining residents inside.
• Bi Yao and Qinglong discovered Strange Objects emerging from the Ghost King Sect, and Luo Yunji learned that Gray Smoke was spreading through the mountains and infecting the living.
• Luo Yunji treated the infected townspeople until some sacrificed themselves in Spirit Fire and became Fierce Spirits who pledged loyalty to him.
• Luo Yunji led the survivors out on Spirit Mountain, then returned through the barrier for his senior brothers and later investigated the Ghost King Sect with Mr. Ghost.
• Mr. Ghost explained that the Four Spirits Blood Array had drawn Gray Mist into the Ghost King Sect, and Luo Yunji used Ghost Path to escape the barrier with the Small World containing Big Bamboo Peak’s disciples.
• Tian Buyi and Daoxuan staged Tian Buyi’s death, but Wen Min and Su Ru learned the truth and helped hide him while Luo Yunji brought the Small World to Bibo Pool.

Luo Yunji gathered refugees beneath Azure Cloud Mountain and battled Dabai, whose plan to summon the Demon God unleashed the Great Calamity. He learned Dabai was Li Jingzhi, whose life of betrayal and suffering had shaped the plan, while the Heavenly Dao began explaining its role.

• The Deities and the old man explained that Li Jingzhi had willingly sacrificed himself and that Luo Yunji was essential to the summoning plan.
