Big Bamboo Peak’s disciples survived the Ancient City, defeated the Monster Fish, and escaped the Wild Lands after clashes with the Demon Sect. They returned to Azure Cloud Sect, then Luo Yunji and Zhang Xiaofan vanished during a visit to the Imperial City before Long Zi brought them back.

• Wu Dayi’s group crossed the buried city and fought the Multi-Armed Monster, while Tian Buyi and the others reunited with them underground.
• Tian Buyi led the disciples into the Dark River to battle the Monster Fish, which swallowed Zhang Xiaofan, Du Bishu, and Luo Yunji before Dahei helped them escape.
• The disciples fled the collapsing Ancient City with the Five Peaks Divine Halberd, and Tian Buyi guided them out of the Dark River into the Wild Lands.
• The group battled Demon Sect pursuers and reached the Wild Holy Temple, where Luo Yunji’s actions provoked the Demon Sect leaders and a fight broke out.
• Du Bishu’s demonic madness summoned a Green Vine that consumed fighters, while Black Silk absorbed the black aura and helped protect Tian Buyi and Su Ru.

Zhang Xiaofan and the Big Bamboo Peak disciples shared new cultivation methods, food, and mishaps as the Seven Peaks Martial Arts Tournament began. Zhang Xiaofan advanced to the final after defeating Lu Xueqi with the Fire Poker’s Dragon Slayer Art, while Qi Hao also won his semifinal.

• Zhang Xiaofan and Little Fatty returned from the Imperial City with gifts and news of their deal with the Yanshe Snake, and Big Bamboo Peak celebrated with a feast.
• The disciples crafted Mysterious Gauze clothing and a powerful scale-covered umbrella, which Tian Buyi sealed after learning its formation could absorb living beings and their souls.
• Wu Dayi’s breakthrough distorted the senses of those around him, while Tian Buyi secretly practiced Little Fatty’s dangerous cultivation method and the tournament preparations continued.
• Tian Buyi accepted the tournament rules and learned that Lin Jingyu had reached the fourth layer of the Jade Purity Realm, while Little Fatty damaged the Dragon Slayer Sword during a clash with Lin Jingyu.
• Luo Yunji swallowed the Spirit Venerable’s treasures and caused lodging chaos, while Tian Buyi offered an improved cultivation method to the Azure Cloud Sect to preserve harmony among its branches.

After winning the Seven Peaks Martial Arts Tournament, Zhang Xiaofan took Luo Yunji on the investigation at Kongsang Mountain, where they subdued the Blood Refining Hall and rescued Bi Yao and Aunt You. They later met the Ghost King and visited the foxes near Xiaochi Town, where a bounty against Three-Tailed Fox and an encounter with a fortune-teller interrupted their journey.

• Zhang Xiaofan defeated Qi Hao to win the tournament, while disciples from the other peaks learned Tian Buyi’s improved cultivation method at Big Bamboo Peak.
• Zhang Xiaofan brought Luo Yunji to join Qi Hao, Zeng Shushu, and Lu Xueqi on the Kongsang Mountain investigation, where they survived the Blood-Sucking Bats and entered the Ancient Cave of Ten Thousand Bats.
• Zhang Xiaofan defeated Jiang Laosan and intimidated the Blood Refining Hall into submission, while Luo Yunji befriended Wild Dog Daoist.

Zhang Xiaofan and Luo Yunji reunited with Big Bamboo Peak on Liubo Mountain, where the disciples faced Demon Sect searches for the Kui Ox and discovered a new use for the Taiji Seal. The arc ended with the Ghost King departing after meeting them, while Xiao Yicai began learning Big Bamboo Peak’s new cultivation method.

• Zhang Xiaofan and Luo Yunji reached Liubo Mountain, reunited with their fellow disciples, and joined the encampment as righteous and demonic forces battled.
• He Dazhi defeated Demon Sect challengers and warned Song Daren that their brothers’ hidden weapons and abilities could bring trouble, while insisting Big Bamboo Peak must remain a refuge for them.
• Luo Yunji and Song Daren created a spirit-water pool and winding slide, and Zhang Xiaofan taught the disciples to use the Taiji Seal to ride and float.
• Tian Buyi overheard He Dazhi’s concerns and resolved to protect his disciples, then sent them to search Liubo Mountain for the Demon Sect’s objective.
• Zhang Xiaofan, He Dazhi, and Tian Linger discovered the Demon Sect gathered in a cave, where Zhou Cai challenged Bi Yao over the search for the Kui Ox.
• The Ghost King revealed that Zhou Cai was Xiao Yicai, then tricked Zhang Xiaofan into revealing Luo Yunji’s hiding place and chose not to provoke him.
• Bi Yao brought Luo Yunji back to the group, and the Ghost King left with her after Xiao Yicai and the others emerged from the cave.
• Xiao Yicai told the leaders about the Demon Sect’s search for the Kui Ox, and Tian Buyi sent him to learn Big Bamboo Peak’s new Taiji Mystic Purity Dao from He Dazhi.
