When Will You Marry?

After the Ghost King returned from Carefree Ravine and learned what was happening at Two Mountains, he hurried over. He didn't catch Luo Yunji, but was surprised to see Madam Sanmiao.

"How did you end up here?" they asked each other at the same time.

"This is Mount Huqi!" the Ghost King reminded Madam Sanmiao, his eyes drooping in dismay.

"But this is also Two Mountains!" Madam Sanmiao reminded him in turn.

Thinking of who currently owned Two Mountains, the Ghost King coughed. He didn't want Madam Sanmiao to get the wrong idea. "I heard Carefree Ravine was in trouble, so I went through all that hardship to get there, but didn't find anyone from the Acacia Sect. When I got back to my sect, I learned you'd been seen near Two Mountains, so I came looking for you!"

After hearing his explanation, Sanmiao Fairy was more or less willing to accept it.

"Speaking of which! How did you end up here?" The Ghost King really couldn't figure it out.

Sanmiao Fairy looked at him, unsure how to answer. She didn't know how much the Ghost King knew, so she watched him in silence.

The Ghost King furrowed his brow slightly. Then he thought of the Five Spirits beside Luo Yunji, and his mouth fell open. "You haven't already met..."

He didn't finish the sentence, but Sanmiao Fairy's eyes narrowed slightly. She hadn't heard the Ghost King say that name aloud, so she wasn't going to admit to anything, lest he be trying to trick her.

The Ghost King wasn't sure whether Sanmiao had come to Two Mountains because of Madam Jinling. He was also afraid of revealing Luo Yunji's secret, so he didn't explain.

The two of them just stared deeply into each other's eyes, speechless for a while.
