By the time Hagrid emerged from the Forbidden Forest with Harry and the others, the sky had already grown bright.

Filch had been waiting beside the cabin since early morning. When he saw them come out of the Forbidden Forest unharmed, disappointment immediately showed on his face.

"Too bad..." Filch muttered, stepping forward. But before he could say anything else, a large hand shoved him aside.

Hagrid glared furiously at Malfoy.

"Scaring your classmates in the Forbidden Forest? I'll tell Professor Snape about this!"

Malfoy didn't care in the slightest. He knew perfectly well that Snape wouldn't punish him.

"How boring. Can we go back now?" Without waiting for Hagrid to answer, Malfoy grumbled as he headed for the castle:

"I really wish I could be lying in a warm dormitory tonight instead of this boring, creepy forest."

"That idiot... Sorry, I mean Slytherin." Hagrid glanced at Filch, then quietly asked Silvan, "So, the Centaurs really didn't steal the Unicorn's body?"

"No," Silvan said firmly.

Harry glanced at Silvan and nodded emphatically.

"That's strange. How did the Unicorn's body just disappear like that?" Hagrid scratched his head, then turned and went into his cabin.

Silvan, Harry, and Neville followed Filch back to the castle.

Along the way, Harry kept glancing at Silvan, looking as if he wanted to say something. But even when they reached the Great Hall, he still didn't say a word.

They'd spent the whole night in the Forbidden Forest and were starving. All they could think about now was having a hearty breakfast.

Ron, Hermione, and the Weasley brothers were there too. They had just finished their own detention and had come in ravenous.

Although it wasn't breakfast time yet, once they sat down, mountains of toast, fragrant sausages, and bacon appeared on the table.
