Everything had fallen apart. Ever since Dumbledore had been struck by Voldemort's Killing Curse in Godric's Hollow, everyone in the Order of the Phoenix had been thrown into chaos.

Fortunately, the flames Dumbledore had unleashed at the very end successfully held back Voldemort and all the Death Eaters, giving the Order members time to Apparate.
