In Moody's plan, Bill and Charlie were the third group to leave the Dursley family home. The two would fly south on brooms, with Bill drinking Polyjuice Potion to disguise himself as Harry and draw the Death Eaters' attention.

After leaving Privet Drive, they would Apparate to Aunt Muriel's house, then use a Portkey set up there in advance to return to The Burrow.

If everything had gone smoothly, they should have returned twenty minutes ago.

Mr. Weasley lay prone on the Thestral's back, unable to hide the worry on his face.

"They'll be fine, Arthur," Sirius's voice came from behind him. "Maybe they just missed the Portkey."

"Let's hope so—"

The Thestral sped through the darkness, and the howling wind soon drowned out their voices.

As they drew closer to Muriel's house, Mr. Weasley grew increasingly anxious. Though he desperately wanted to find Bill and Charlie, he had no choice but to slow down for safety's sake and move beside Silvan.

"Slow down, Silvan," he warned. "We don't know whether the Death Eaters have already found this place. We'd better stay alert at all times!"
