Golden clouds spread layer upon layer across the Nine Heavens. Di Jun, clad in a gilded dragon robe of the Heavenly Emperor, stood atop starlight. Ten suns hung behind him as he looked down upon the Three Realms and declared loudly:
"Dao Venerable above, Heavenly Dao above! I am Di Jun, transformed from the Three-Legged Golden Crow, one of the Dao Ancestor's three thousand mortal guests, and the Heavenly Emperor, lord of the Heavenly Court!"
"I shall follow the greater tide, protect the Human Race, and seek a path of balanced survival for all living beings of the Primordial World! I vow to forever keep the four quarters of the Primordial World in check, safeguard the endless continuation of all beings, and free them from the displacement of war. Whenever any living being suffers, the Heavenly Court shall spare no effort to protect them!"
"May the Dao Venerable bear witness!"
As his words fell, before the Heavenly Dao could respond,
a detached Dao voice came from the distant Hundun:
"Granted."
Immediately afterward, a streak of light flew from the Hundun and entered Di Jun's brow, revealing the image of a blue stone. Di Jun's own providence unexpectedly became linked to the Hundun, thread by thread.
Then the Heavenly Dao began bestowing boundless merit. Its vastness was no less than when the Three Pure Ones had become Sages.
Once more, golden lotuses and Dao music filled the skies. Flawless golden Sage light illuminated the heavens, but within the golden radiance behind Di Jun, a phantom figure could vaguely be seen standing with hands clasped behind its back.
The phantom wore blue robes, golden light gleaming in its eyes as it looked down upon the entire Primordial World.
All the immortals of the Heavenly Court cheered in jubilation!
