Background / History

The Heavenly Dao developed alongside the Primordial World. During the Fierce Beast Calamity, it had not yet fully formed, but it recognized the victors by distributing merit: Hongjun received half, while Zulong, Yuanfeng, and Shi Qilin divided thirty percent 27.

It became fully formed after Luo Hou's Dao Body dispersed to repair the Primordial World. Its birth marked the retreat of the Great Dao, which would thereafter rarely manifest except in relation to the Three Thousand Chaos Demon Gods 43.

Shichen later decided that his Dao Body would merge with the Heavenly Dao to perfect it. The Three Thousand Chaos Demon Gods supplied their laws to accelerate the fusion, resulting in a surge of spiritual energy, clearer laws, widespread breakthroughs, and the spontaneous birth of treasures throughout the Primordial World 57. The resulting composite entity became known as Heavenly Dao Shichen 59.

Appearance

Before merging with Shichen, the Heavenly Dao manifests in its origin space as a sphere of gathered law-light. After the fusion, it appears through Shichen's Dao Body, surrounded by faint golden Heavenly Dao radiance 57 59.

Personality

The Heavenly Dao initially responds to Shichen with respect and joy at the prospect of being perfected 57. After merging with him, its conduct is markedly detached: Heavenly Dao Shichen watches the deaths caused by the Witch–Demon conflict without visible emotion, regarding the return of the dead's origin to the Primordial World as nourishment for Chaos 61.

Its decisions consistently prioritize the Primordial World's long-term development over individual lives. When Hongjun questions the escalating Witch–Demon conflict, Heavenly Dao Shichen states that the events are a necessary price for Di Jun's eventual advancement 97.
