While he cultivated, the Demon Gods confronted system forces in other worlds, and the Investiture of the Gods Calamity spread across the connected realms, leaving Lord Tongtian’s disciples gathered on Golden Ao Island.

• Shichen defeated Destruction in their sparring match, then faced Pangu after Pangu reached the Chaos Realm, Fifth Heaven.
• Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Di Jun, Jie Yin, and Zhun Ti attained Sagehood, and Shichen opened the Primordial World to the connected universes.
• Di Jun led the Heavenly Court into other worlds, where the Star Demon God exposed a Main God Space mission and Shichen traced its system to five great universes.
• Shichen and the Demon Gods moved the five universes beside the Tianyuan Divine World and the False Primordial World, then the top Demon Gods entrusted their Dao Marks to him as he prepared to confront the God of Systems.

Shichen confronted the God of Systems while the Chaos Dao Court prepared to merge worlds and accelerate the Investiture of the Gods Calamity. The arc ended with Hong Yun overcome by Calamity Qi as several powers converged on his battle with Zhun Ti.

• Tongtian appointed Duobao Teacher of the Earth Emperor, and the Star Demon God decreed that the Tribulation would end when the Investiture of the Gods was filled.
• Fuxi established himself as Human Emperor and named Shennong and Xuanyuan the next emperors, but Heavenly Dao Shichen barred the Sages from controlling the Human Race’s foundations.
• The Demon God of Deception and the World Demon God accompanied an impostor posing as Yang Mei as he destroyed worlds, until Fate, Karma, and the other Demon Gods exposed and defeated the impostors.
• Shichen returned to Hundun, defeated the Copy System with Yang Mei’s help, and declared the Chaos Dao Court’s authority over the Myriad Heavens and Ten Thousand Worlds.
• Shichen confronted the God of Systems, whose Blood Eye form revealed its plan to prevent ascension to the Great Dao Realm, and used the Great Dao Prohibition Decree to seal it temporarily.
• Yang Mei sacrificed half of his Space Dao origin to gain the Great Dao’s pressure and help Shichen, then Shichen restored Yang Mei’s origin and ordered Hongjun and the Demon God of Disaster to accelerate the Calamity.
• Hong Yun received another Hongmeng Purple Qi from his system as Zhun Ti and Kunpeng fought over the first one, but the Demon God of Disaster filled Hong Yun with Calamity Qi.
• Hong Yun destroyed Knocking Ghost and dozens of Weird creatures, then attacked Zhun Ti as Kunpeng trapped him in the Lesser Heavenly Stellar Array and Zhenyuanzi protected Hong Yun.

The Investiture of the Gods Calamity spread across worlds as the Demon Gods and Primordial World powers fought over Chaos Origin, devastating the Cosmic Universe before the Space Dao Venerable imposed order. Shichen and the Demon Gods then investigated a suspected contingency of the God of Systems, and Shichen resurrected Li Wan'er before the Karma Demon God erased Shui Daozi.

• Hong Yun burned his essence against the Ancestral Witches, then was remade by the Divine Blood and joined the Ancient Heavenly Court with Zhenyuanzi.
• Shichen restored the shattered world, named Di Jun an inheritor of his lineage, and announced plans for Chaos Academy after the Investiture of the Gods Calamity.
• Zhunti converted the Lord of the Weird into Tathagata, who founded the Buddhist Sect in the Western Bliss Realm and received the Karma Demon God's guidance.
• Shi Hao and his allies fought Zulong and Zhulong over the Starshine Dao Talisman, until the Three Pure Ones intervened and a struggle over Chaos Origin began in the Cosmic Universe.
• The powers fought over Chaos Origin and shattered the Cosmic Universe, but the Space Dao Venerable emerged from Duobao and ordered them to repair it and obey the Dao Court.
• Yang Mei spread Space Dao Marks through gathered universes and empowered Haotian, while Shichen and the Demon Gods investigated the Reincarnation Demon God's visions of a dangerous future involving World.
• Shichen and the Demon Gods traveled to Wang Lin's universe, where Shichen resurrected Li Wan'er and made her an immortal.
• Karma Demon God erased Shui Daozi after he attacked the group and threatened Wang Lin, leaving Shui Daozi to cry out for the Palm Sovereign.

Shichen’s plan to guide the World Demon God and gather power through the Primordial World’s escalating wars collided with the God of Systems’ possession and the Human Race’s struggle against the Heavenly Dao. The Human Race faced a growing siege as Shichen neared Chaos Realm, Seventh Heaven, while a red-eyed being prepared to emerge and devour all worlds.

• The Palm Venerable failed to retrieve Shui Daozi, while Shichen recruited Wang Lin and the Inner and Outer Realms clashed over the Dao Venerable Imprint.
• Eastern Duke seized the Hongmeng Purple Qi and fought the Immortal Emperor, Xuanluo, and the Ancient Dao Grand Heavenly Venerable before Jie Yin and other Primordial World figures joined the battle.
• The Demon God of Deception trapped cultivators in an Illusion Realm, where Wang Lin comprehended the Dao of True and False and overcame his tribulation.
• Shichen used the borrowed deception law to test the World Demon God, whose pursuit of greater power led her to kill Lower Demon Gods and attack Star Demon God as Dao Mist corrupted her.
• The God of Systems took control of the World Demon God, but Pangu severed much of her origin, and Shichen sent her and Destruction Demon God into the River of Time to recover.
• Hongjun accelerated Haotian’s painful reincarnations as the Three Teachings, Western Religion, Dragon Clan, and other forces plunged the Primordial World into war.
