After establishing the Chaos Academy, Shichen entered seclusion to refine countless Dao bodies and faced a hidden future adversary. His scattered consciousnesses began appearing as emotions across the worlds, and Tragic Shichen met Su Yun and the newly awakened Longing Shichen.

• Shichen accelerated the Investiture of the Gods Calamity, which ended with the Primordial World divided, Haotian crowned Jade Emperor, and the Heavenly Court established.
• Shichen opened the Chaos Academy, appointed Hongjun headmaster, and named Di Jun his first personal disciple before sealing himself away to refine his Dao bodies.
• Shichen encountered a towering figure in a hidden timeline who foretold a final battle when Shichen reached the Great Dao Realm, while Heavenly Dao Shichen and Hongjun concealed a plan for his return.
• Shichen’s scattered consciousnesses absorbed emotions and formed seven figures, including Tragic Shichen, who met Su Yun and accompanied him to a Dao Venerable statue.
• Tragic Shichen’s sorrow overwhelmed a cultivation star, and Creation and Order arrived as an enemy approached the Reincarnation Universe.
• Joyful Shichen attacked the Reincarnation Universe, but Tragic Shichen, Creation, and Order defeated him, and Joyful Shichen transferred his power to Tragic Shichen.
• After Su Yun buried his great-grandfather, Tragic Shichen took him to the False Primordial World and met Longing Shichen, who wanted to find his siblings and return home.

Tragic Shichen gathered several of Shichen’s scattered emotions while the systems hunted them and secretly worked to free their god. As Shichen awakened in the Time Temple, Blood Eye escaped his chains and began his final showdown with him.

• Longing Shichen sacrificed himself to strengthen Tragic Shichen, and Pangu rescued the group from Angry Shichen before systems’ forces healed and empowered Anger of Time.
• The systems learned that Shichen’s Seven Emotions threatened the worlds if destroyed, then began searching for them while Pangu and the Demon Gods raced to intervene.
• Tragic Shichen and Startled Shichen fought the systems, and Pangu, the Fate Demon God, and the Demon God of Deception arrived to help defeat them.
• Pangu defeated Angry Shichen’s assault, but Angry Shichen chose to merge with Tragic Shichen after declaring he was Shichen and not a tool or emotion.
• Tragic Shichen absorbed Startled Shichen and Worried Shichen, gaining their laws, but could not reach the Chaos Realm, Fifth Heaven or locate Fear.
• Fearful Shichen left Infinite-Measure Space with the Star Demon God and Haotian, while the systems used the distraction to seek their imprisoned god.
• The systems poured their origin power into Blood Eye, who shattered the Great Dao Chains binding him and escaped the Land of the Void.
• Shichen awakened, broke the Time Temple’s barrier, merged countless timeline versions of himself, and declared that all things would return to his Dao.

Shichen defeated the God of Systems, restored the fallen Demon Gods’ names to the River of Time, and launched the Journey to the West Calamity with Sun Wukong as its protagonist. As Sun Wukong rebelled against the Heavenly Court, Shichen and the Chaos Dao Court arrived to confront the Star Demon God.

• Shichen reunited with Tragic Shichen, merged their selves, and fused with the Heavenly Dao to fight the God of Systems.
• Pangu and the Demon Gods fought the God of Systems while Shichen completed his breakthrough, defeated him, and won the battle for the Chaos Dao Court.
• Shichen healed the survivors, restored Seven Stars to the Star Demon God, freed the Seven Emotions to pursue their own lives, and later recorded the fallen Demon Gods’ deeds in the River of Time.
• Shichen announced the Journey to the West Calamity, chose the monkey born from the Five-Colored Stone as its protagonist, and named him Sun Wukong.
• Sun Wukong recovered memories of a previous life, took the Ruyi Golden Cudgel from the Dragon Clan, and refused to surrender when Shi Hao’s forces challenged him.
• The Star Demon God and Little Bean protected Sun Wukong, helped him cross his monkey companions’ names from the Book of Life and Death, and accompanied him to the Heavenly Court.
• Sun Wukong fought the Heavenly Court’s forces and rejected their demand to follow his destined path, while the Star Demon God broke the pressure holding him down.
• Shichen and the Chaos Dao Court arrived as the Star Demon God claimed to defy the Dao, and Shichen challenged his claim.

Sun Wukong’s Journey to the West became a battleground for rival worlds and powers, while Shichen pursued a hidden timeline that challenged his understanding of the Great Dao. The arc ended with the Invincible System exposing Shichen’s connection to the ruined Blue Planet and an identical azure-robed figure declaring that they were both Shichen.

• Shichen learned that Great Dao Realm Pangu had reset the original timeline to prevent the myriad worlds from falling into nothingness, and set out to find a way to sever his bond with Hundun.
• Shichen and the Demon Gods arranged a new trial for Sun Wukong and his companions, while Kunpeng spread rumors that capturing the pilgrims would bring great rewards.
• Kunpeng and the Demon Saints captured Golden Cicada and his companions, but the Star Demon God drove them back before Shichen ordered the pilgrims tied up as bait for gods and Buddhas.
• Di Jun led the Ancient Heavenly Court to rescue the pilgrims, but Shichen erased their formation and the Star Demon God later revealed his Heavenly Dao Realm power.
• Pangu and Yang Mei defeated the Chaos Demon Ape and Luo Hou, after which Shichen sent Di Jun to rescue Golden Cicada and promised the Primordial World would grant merit for the tribulation.
• Shichen traced an attempt to erase a hidden causal existence to the Invincible System, while Di Jun rejected Blue Planet as his home and Hong Yun accepted the Primordial World as his own.
• The Invincible System revealed the ruined Blue Planet and claimed Shichen had originated there, but Shichen’s suppressed memories released an identical azure-robed figure who called himself the real Shichen and declared that Shichen was also Shichen.
