Momonga stepped forward and gently patted Siyou Qilong on the shoulder.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Then they went their separate ways, leaving only Mu Fengyu and Touch Me behind.

Mu Fengyu sat across from Touch Me and asked sternly,

"Did you ask me to stay behind because there's something important you want to discuss?"

Touch Me furrowed his brow slightly, deep in thought.

"Yu, you were involved in making the next version. Is there a suitable dungeon we could use as a guild base? Our current base is only temporary. As the team grows, we might need somewhere with a greater strategic advantage and richer resources."

Mu Fengyu paused. So that was what this was about. He waved a hand and said,

"You don't need to worry about that. Nishikienrai will find a suitable dungeon."

"How are you so sure he'll find one?"

"Isn't it obvious? Nishikienrai loves roaming around. After being cooped up for so long, he'll definitely head out to some high-level areas. He might just find a suitable place while he's at it."

Touch Me shook his head helplessly and stood up.

Siyou Qilong hurried after him, and the two headed to the leveling area.

A month slipped by, and only two days remained until the new version launched. The group, with no plans to go exploring for the time being, chatted at their base.

Peroroncino stretched and showed off the newly forged Houyi Bow.

"This past month has worn me out. I have to carry around this heavy bow every day. I wish someone would help me shoulder the burden."

Bukubukuchagama said coldly, "Yeah. I wonder if someone's game cartridges hidden on top of the cupboard might get burned."

Peroroncino's expression changed instantly. He hurriedly said,

"No, no, sis, I never said I was tired! This bow's easy to carry!"

Bukubukuchagama's expression darkened. Everyone knew she had failed to forge an artifact several times recently. Now he was showing off his artifact right in front of her—he was practically asking for a beating. She was definitely going to burn all his dirty games when they got home.

Everyone burst out laughing at the sight. Just then, Mu Fengyu and Siyou Qilong came in.

Peroroncino ran up to Mu Fengyu like he'd spotted his savior and said eagerly,

"Back from leveling?"

"Yeah..."

"Right, I know. Little Si Long has made a lot of progress, no need to tell me. Let's play cards."

As he spoke, he pulled out a deck and took Mu Fengyu by the hand, leading him off to the side.

"This is a deck I just put together. Come on, let's find somewhere without my sister and play a proper game."

Mu Fengyu struck a cute pose, hoping to charm his way out of it, but Peroroncino wasn't buying it. He swatted Mu Fengyu's paw away, took a handkerchief from his backpack, and rubbed it furiously.

"Ugh, what a load of bad luck. You're just like my sister. Stay away from me."

Bukubukuchagama stepped behind him, her gaze ominous. Mu Fengyu gave an awkward smile and wisely made room for the siblings to settle their score.

What followed was a series of Tom and Jerry sound effects. Use your imagination.

Everyone quietly took a step back. Peroroncino was pinned to the ground and thoroughly pummeled. Since he didn't dare talk back to his sister, he could only plead with his eyes for help from the others.

Peroroncino's eyes said, "Save me, save me." But how could anyone intervene when a big sister was beating up her little brother? Just as Peroroncino was about to give out, Nishikienrai returned from his outing and finally stopped them.

"Cut it out! I have important news!"

Everyone's attention immediately turned to him, and Bukubukuchagama stopped what she was doing.

Peroroncino took the opportunity to scramble to his feet and hide behind the others, nervously straightening his rumpled clothes.

"While I was out adventuring, I found a high-level, level-80 dungeon that no one has explored yet."

Everyone's expressions turned serious. This was a brand-new base that no one else knew about.
