Background / History

Bukubukuchagama was among the players who joined the Nine-Man Suicide Subgroup after its earlier members. Before the group became Ainz Ooal Gown, she acted as a concerned elder figure toward Mu Fengyu, warning the YGGDRASIL shareholder that his obsessive spending on the game should not replace real-life experiences. 1 11

During the conflict with Storm Horn, she took command of Ainz Ooal Gown's operation to infiltrate the enemy stronghold and destroy its guild weapon. She later volunteered to activate the World-Class Item [Heaven-Supporting God], accepting its twenty-level class penalty so her stronger combat-oriented companions would not have to. 13 19

When the guild formally chose its name, Bukubukuchagama proposed replacing part of Takemikazuchi's suggestion with “Ooal Gown,” creating the final name Ainz Ooal Gown. She subsequently became the guild's principal strategist during the raid on the Great Tomb of Nazarick, organizing parties around attack, defense, healing, scouting, and adaptable roles. 41 44
