Every guardian deity, every vajra yaksha—all took on kindly faces and sat cross-legged, chanting sutras.

A surge of Lunar Yin light rolled forth, and Fang Qing stepped out of it.

"Sangji pays his respects to the venerable one!"

Clad in white, Sangji now looked like a handsome young monk, but he still prostrated himself with the utmost reverence.

"Akasagarbha Bodhisattva—the Earth-Hiding Body of that True Lord Kui Zang Xianqing—has rebelled."

Fang Qing gazed at the mortal world and suddenly sighed. "Great Peng Wisdom King died in battle. It seems that Great Sun Tathagata really has been driven into a desperate corner."

Moonlight White and the other Dumu had only seen Great Snow Mountain collapse, but Fang Qing and Sangji could see far more.

"Akasagarbha Bodhisattva must have defected to Moon-Palace Embryo-Forming Origin Lord! Otherwise, where would he find the courage to strike at Great Sun Tathagata?"

Sangji pressed his palms together and spoke with certainty.

"Akasagarbha Bodhisattva's attack on Great Snow Mountain was a campaign against Great Sun Tathagata's lineage. Great Peng Wisdom King had no choice but to fight. Unfortunately, he held only a Vacant Position, and a [Xun Wind] Vacant Position at that. The positions of [Xun Wind] were long ago carved up and devoured by water and fire, making him the weakest of the Vacant Position True Lords. His end was hardly surprising."

Sangji sighed and silently chanted a rebirth sutra for Great Peng Wisdom King.

"You've seen one part of it, but not the other."

Fang Qing merely smiled.

"Oh? Please enlighten me, venerable one."

Sangji assumed an attentive posture.

"Great Peng Wisdom King could be considered Great Sun Tathagata's Duzi, and thus had even less freedom
