Background / History

Before transmigrating, Fang Qing casually purchased the pearl online as part of a bead bracelet. After falling into the sea while fleeing bandits, he discovered it within himself and received information identifying it as the Dao-Born Pearl. The information described it as a treasure existing before Heaven and Earth. 2

The Pearl’s initial use transported Fang Qing from the sea to Ancient Shu, saving him from immediate danger. Its early conversion ability also let him turn acquired martial force and mana into origin qi, then reconstruct a different learned power; this became the basis of Fang Qing’s ability to cultivate across incompatible systems. 2 6 10

As Fang Qing’s cultivation and authority rose, the Pearl’s functions broadened from two-world travel and fate concealment to long-range surveillance, divine-power conversion, rank borrowing, remote empowerment, and the containment of golden positions. 49 261 417 496
