Background / History

Starfire is an organization with official backing whose stated purpose is to preserve and carry on human civilization in the apocalyptic world. It recruits capable survivors by offering protected accommodation, resources, and institute-made weapons in exchange for scheduled zombie clearing, material recovery, and combat against threats such as the Kabbalah Order. Ye Xiu initially accepts only external membership, intending to observe the organization before committing himself fully. 13

Its early forces combined specialized ability users in intelligence, defense, and assault roles. Its personnel were already regarded as high quality, and its research institutes developed weapons and equipment intended to let ability users fight above their rank. 33 53

After the collapse of the Kabbalah Order's influence in Azure Prefecture, Starfire rises to control the shelter. Its stewardship visibly improves the environment, earning public support among Upper City residents. 155 156

As cultivation becomes central to its future, Starfire shifts toward training large numbers of cultivators, integrating spiritual power with technology, and building a sustainable base of production rather than relying solely on individual experts. 541 542

Starfire later establishes Ice-Snow Mountain City from territory formerly held by the Zhucheng Tribe. The alliance expands agriculture, imposes administrative control, and absorbs selected nonhuman residents through education, shared residence, and citizen status. 580 701

Kabbalah Order

Starfire and the Kabbalah Order are ideological enemies with no prospect of reconciliation under their current values. Starfire opposes the Order’s genetic-modification practices and its treatment of lower-ranking followers as disposable resources. 534 535 701

The Order attacks Starfire territory with genetically modified believers and later deploys experimental creatures and a nearly two-hundred-meter Chimera.
