Background

Alpha was born in Gilneas and became a worgen during the fall of the kingdom. He initially struggled to suppress his bloodlust; his parents died in the conflict, and Darius Crowley once threatened to kill him if he could not regain control and endangered others. A potion provided by King Genn Greymane may have aided his recovery of reason. 2 34

Sent to Stormwind with Captain Sally, Alpha represented Gilneas before King Varian Wrynn. He transformed publicly to prove his identity, requested the Gilnean worgen’s readmission to the Alliance, and sealed his pledge with a blood oath to become the Alliance’s blade. Varian instead ordered him to investigate the disturbances west of Elwynn Forest as a test of Gilneas’s sincerity. 2 3

Appearance

Alpha can shift freely between a human guise and a large worgen form. His appearance becomes increasingly marked by Goldrinn’s influence after receiving the Wild God’s blessing. 2 3 25 34
