Fourth Khan Maradus and Fifth Khan Weng had already been dealt with. Next was Second Khan Gelk. Although Rend did not yet know that Second Khan Gelk had disgracefully fled, he still went to support Warchief Thrall. After all, this mission was dangerous, and he had to protect the boss.
They raced toward the front lines where Thrall and his personal guard were stationed. Even when faced with seas of Centaur, they were still no match for the elite Orc wolf cavalry. Riding Gyth, Rend charged and thrust his way forward, directly splitting apart the tightly packed Centaur. The warriors following behind him naturally understood their duty and consciously held back the enemy through the gap Rend had torn open, preventing the Centaur from gathering together again. Their divided formation would be much easier for the Horde to annihilate; if they clustered together, it would greatly slow the Horde's extermination.
They drove forward in an unstoppable straight line until they reached Thrall's front line, but Rend saw only an exceptionally massive Centaur corpse. Clearly, it was a physical body rather than a spirit body, so it was not Second Khan Gelk.
"Warchief, did Second Khan Gelk get away? I would rather this huge corpse were his. If we miss this chance, it will be difficult to get another." Rend swiftly flew to Thrall's side. Though he knew Second Khan Gelk had certainly escaped, he still clung to a sliver of hope.
"Rend, unfortunately, Second Khan Gelk did indeed escape. But that is not necessarily a bad thing." Thrall looked at Rend's disappointed expression and knew that he was upset that his plan had not been fully carried out.
"If we could have dealt with him here, then these millions of Centaur without command would have been ours for the taking.
