The next morning, Rend set foot on the muddy ground of Scalawag Point. Northsea Pirate corpses lay everywhere, and buildings still burned. There were hardly any Trifarix Navy Marine casualties to be seen.
"How was it, Jorin? How did the battle go?" This was the Trifarix Navy Marines' first amphibious landing, and Rend curiously asked Jorin Deadeye.
"Pathetically weak. These pirates and scoundrels weren't worthy of dying by our hands. Even a newly grown Orc peon could take on ten of them alone." That was Jorin Deadeye's assessment of the Northsea Pirates. Their bodies had long been hollowed out by constant drinking and debauched lives.
Rend looked over the nearly ruined Scalawag Point. This would become the Blackrock Expeditionary Force's first port in Northrend. He said to the two chief advisors behind him, "Gasezog, Eitrigg, organize the peons to clear this place. Build a large island port on Gavi Reef. Call it Maim Port."
Maim was the name of Rend's brother, Maim Blackhand.

At noon, Malkorok returned with a large number of Northsea Pirate captives. He had been leading the Trifarix Legion in wiping out all the Northsea Pirates hiding across Gavi Reef.
"Warchief, I turned all of Gavi Reef upside down, but I still didn't find their leader, a human named Jonah Sterling, known as Mad Dog." When the Iron Fleet surrounded Scalawag Point, this leader of Scalawag Point had not thought of fighting back. Instead, he had fled at the first opportunity with his confidants, burrowing into some corner of Gavi Reef.
Malkorok, reckless by nature, was clearly unsuited for such a meticulous search. Rend therefore decided to leave the task to the Uncrowned.
