Whether the fully resurrected, strongest Old God, seven-headed Y'Shaarj, could survive that terrifying blow remained unknown. But the not-yet-fully-resurrected six-headed Y'Shaarj had been completely annihilated by it.
Of Old God Y'Shaarj's final essence, only its shattered heart remained. Though it was still beating, it looked utterly listless, as if it could stop at any moment.
After Old God Y'Shaarj died, Stormwind, which had been pulled into the Black Empire domain, began returning in reverse to Azeroth's space.
"I want you all to remain here forever and be buried with me!"
Y'Shaarj's voice rang out from the Heart of Y'Shaarj once more, but this time it was nothing more than the gasp of a dying creature.
Y'Shaarj's death was inevitable, and even its final breath was being extinguished. Yet it was unwilling to accept this. It wanted Stormwind Keep to remain in the Black Empire forever, trapping Azeroth's powerful within.
After sensing Y'Shaarj's defeat, the remaining three Old Gods also decided to cooperate with Y'Shaarj's final plan and leave Azeroth's powerful trapped here.
That way, Azeroth, deprived of its powerful defenders, would be unable to face further crises.
As the Black Empire domain gradually closed, Xal'atath alone could not possibly teleport all the Horde soldiers and powerful figures within Stormwind Keep out.
"Yogg-Saron, C'Thun, and N'Zoth are too powerful. I cannot contend with them here. I can only send a small number of people back to Azeroth."
At that moment, Sun King Kael'thas Sunstrider recalled the scene in Dragonblight, when Dalaran fell and countless Blood Elves who could not be teleported away were buried alongside it.
Last time, tragedy had occurred because he was not proficient in spatial teleportation magic. Now that a similar situation had arisen again, was he supposed to let tragedy happen once more?
Never!
