Lu Mingyu had no choice. He didn't know how to return to his own world. Even if it meant giving up this ability, he still had to go back.

Lu Mingyu had always been unable to resist the allure of superpowers. Ever since he was young, he had wished to possess such abilities. But now that his wish had come true, he felt especially desolate. He had to find a way back to his own world, where his family was.

Lu Mingyu missed his family. Whenever he thought about the moment he had left, he imagined his parents crying, imagined the despair they must have felt. No matter how much he yearned for power, he could not let his parents suffer such heart-wrenching pain. He had to return.

At that moment, there was only one thing in Lu Mingyu's mind: he wanted to go home and reunite with his family.

"I miss you so much." Lu Mingyu watched his mother walk out of the kitchen. This was what she had looked like when his accident happened, except the scene of her walking out now was something he had imagined, and so the machine recreated it.

Lu Mingyu's mother looked at her son as tears streamed from her eyes. Lu Mingyu could not bear to look any longer. Lowering his head, he shut off the machine. Tears welled in his eyes, while a sour ache lingered in his nose.

Lu Mingyu did not dare think too much. He feared his emotions would make him collapse, so when he saw his mother, he did not dare think of his father. He was afraid his mind would not be able to withstand that kind of blow. He missed them, yet he did not dare miss them too deeply.

It was a contradiction, but it was for his own good.

The moment the machine shut down, Jarvis's voice came through. "Mr. Lu, there has been feedback from the crime rate monitoring system."

"Good. Help me analyze where Quicksilver is most likely to appear."

"Certainly, Mr. Lu."

Scarlet Witch's eyes were red and swollen. For so many years, she had wanted to see her brother, but after he was resurrected, he was no longer himself. She did not know how she should face him, nor did she know how to deal with him.

Just like that, the atmosphere became awkward.

Black Lantern Quicksilver's mind was washed over by memories from the past again and again. Love and responsibility erupted within his mental world. The Black Lantern Ring trembled violently; very few people could resist the Black Lantern Ring and return to their true selves.

Seeing her brother's pain, Scarlet Witch did not try to attack. She could no longer read Black Lantern Quicksilver's thoughts, as though something had cut off her ability. But Scarlet Witch could still tell that Black Lantern Quicksilver was resisting something—or rather, that the real Quicksilver was about to return.

"No!" Black Lantern Quicksilver struggled, but he still yielded to the Black Lantern Ring. His cruel gaze returned, and he no longer wanted to waste time.

On the roof of the fiftieth floor, Scarlet Witch slowly placed Hawkeye behind her. She was worried Hawkeye might do something reckless, and she also feared Black Lantern Quicksilver would suddenly strike.

However, what she feared finally happened. Black Lantern Quicksilver was incredibly fast. He charged straight at Scarlet Witch, his silver figure leaving streak after streak of light across the rooftop. The Black Lantern Ring on his hand buzzed. Scarlet Witch was his target!

Hawkeye simply did not believe Black Lantern Quicksilver could become the Quicksilver he once was. So when Black Lantern Quicksilver calmed down, he sensed that he was about to make a move. Thus, the rope arrow that had already been wound around him shot straight toward Black Lantern Quicksilver.

Black Lantern Quicksilver had not expected Hawkeye to pull something like this. It caught him off guard. Fine strands wrapped around Black Lantern Quicksilver, and because he was moving too fast to evade in time, every strand wound itself around his body.

Scarlet Witch was startled by the sudden attack. She stared at Black Lantern Quicksilver in shock. If Hawkeye had not saved her, she might have already died.

Dark Blade trembled atop the parachute, then shot out wildly, leaving a black shadow in the air as black lightning abruptly appeared around it. Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch were both terrified. They had never seen anything so bizarre.

Without a word, Hawkeye fired his strongest arrow directly at Black Lantern Quicksilver's head. Meanwhile, because of Dark Blade's appearance, Scarlet Witch's powers temporarily stopped working. Watching the arrow streak past, she screamed, "No!!!!"

Even though Black Lantern Quicksilver was no longer the Quicksilver from before, she still did not want Quicksilver to die in front of her. She screamed as though the air itself had frozen. The agony of losing a loved one played out once more upon Scarlet Witch, tearing her apart!

Hawkeye knew that this time, even Dark Blade could not save Black Lantern Quicksilver. He closed his eyes, unable to watch Quicksilver die. He was afraid. He did not think he should be the one to kill him.

Because Black Lantern Quicksilver was Quicksilver. He could not bring himself to do it, yet he had no choice but to do it! So he could only close his eyes and wait for the sound of the arrow piercing through a skull.

But Black Lantern Quicksilver did not die. Countless bolts of blue lightning flashed before him, and at that moment, everything came to a halt. A red-and-blue figure flickered repeatedly beside the arrow, using lightning to break its trajectory.

Yes, that figure belonged to Lu Mingyu—to Marvel's Flash!

Blue lightning flickered in Lu Mingyu's eyes behind his mask, while the Allen Armor shone ever brighter within the lightning. The blue lines on the Allen Armor were brighter than lightning in an ordinary dark night. His armor was glowing.

Black Lantern Quicksilver looked at Lu Mingyu, who had blocked the attack in front of him, and smiled cruelly. "Hahahahahaha, what are you doing? Let me tell you, you made a mistake!"

Dark Blade rapidly absorbed the Speed Force from Lu Mingyu's body. At the same time, Scarlet Witch's powers returned. In an instant, Hawkeye's body could no longer move, and red light flowed across him.

Dark Blade continuously released lightning as it sliced through the ropes around Black Lantern Quicksilver. Lu Mingyu turned and grabbed Dark Blade. He knew the world rift was definitely connected to this Dark Blade. He had to obtain Black Lantern Quicksilver's help, because Dark Blade was now Black Lantern Quicksilver's weapon.

The moment Lu Mingyu grabbed Dark Blade, all the lightning vanished instantly. Then, after a second of calm, Dark Blade exploded!

Lu Mingyu did not know what had happened, but he moved at once. Blue lightning erupted from his body, and he became faster and faster. In that instant, he grabbed Quicksilver, Hawkeye, and Scarlet Witch and began to run.

The flames behind him chased Lu Mingyu's figure like a demon. At that moment, Lu Mingyu truly felt despair. He could feel his Allen Armor slowly collapsing, while a red energy wrapped around the blazing fire.

Lu Mingyu knew that power belonged to Scarlet Witch, but that did not mean he could stop now.

Wrapped in red power, the flames slowly shrank. Lu Mingyu exited his high-speed state and set Quicksilver and the others down. Even he had not expected that he could carry so many people, and do so fairly easily.

But what he did not know was that Scarlet Witch had helped him. Her energy had reduced the weight of Quicksilver and the others.
