Background / History

Tang San is the son of Tang Hao and Ah Yin, and possesses the rare Twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. As Yu Xiaogang’s disciple, he protects his teacher from Yu Luomian despite being injured in the process; Tang Hao subsequently retrieves him for treatment and has Yu Xiaogang relocate Tang San and Xiao Wu from Nuoding City. 54 55

He is defeated overwhelmingly by Ye Ling at the Mending Heaven Pavilion auction, recognizing a major gap between their strength. Tang Hao is later killed by Ye Ling, while Ye Ling retains Tang Hao’s Soul Bones. 189 199

During cultivation in Heaven Dou City, Tang San is invaded by a pale-blue energy body claiming to be his future self: a God King who inherited the Sea God and Shura God positions. The two ultimately merge, making the present Tang San a combination of his original self and the future God King’s divine consciousness, memories, and exceptionally strong Spiritual Power. 208 209

After the merger, Tang San discovers that many opportunities from his remembered life are gone: his mother’s Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone has disappeared, and Blue Silver Forest and the Blue Silver King have vanished. Tang San is guarded and calculating. Even before merging with his future self, he is described as naturally cautious toward lovers, family, and teachers alike; he initially refuses to believe the stranger claiming to be his future self. 208

The merged consciousness intensifies his arrogance, possessiveness, and fixation on reclaiming what he believes should belong to him.
