At this exclamation, Jiraiya stared at Hiruzen Sarutobi in shock, as though he could not believe what he had just heard.
Hiruzen Sarutobi's voice echoed through the air as he explained their plan in detail, every word striking Jiraiya's heart like a heavy hammer.
When Hiruzen Sarutobi produced the report Orochimaru had given him, Jiraiya's shock reached its peak.
The contents of that report gave him an even deeper understanding of what his teacher and Shimura Danzo had done.
So their true goal had been to use members of the Uchiha Clan for Wood Release experiments!
This discovery filled Jiraiya with fury and disappointment.
"Are you and Elder Shimura still finding new depths to sink to?" Jiraiya glared furiously at Hiruzen Sarutobi, his voice filled with disbelief and reproach.
"You were actually capable of doing something like this!" His emotions grew more agitated, and he could no longer suppress the rage in his heart.
Though he knew that the man before him was his teacher, Jiraiya could not help but question Hiruzen Sarutobi. Why had he done something so cruel and immoral?
