Naruto gathered Lightning Release chakra in his right hand and fired a small beam of light into the sky. A massive lightning dragon formed overhead.
"Lightning Release: Kirin!" Naruto shouted. The dragon descended from the heavens and charged fiercely at Gato and the thugs. It moved so fast that everyone saw only a flash of light.
Boom...
Once the dust settled, nothing remained at the point of impact. The place where Gato and the thugs had been standing was now a massive crater, and even the bridge itself had been blown beyond recognition.
"Such incredible power." Kakashi watched in astonishment. That jutsu was undoubtedly S-rank.
Maybe I should go to Konoha. I don't want to become the target of that attack, Zabuza thought.
That power should belong to me. With it, I could easily defeat my brother. Sasuke stared wide-eyed as the earth-shattering lightning struck its target.
"It's over. Gato is as good as dead." Kakashi looked at Naruto, who was smiling, and said, "So, Zabuza, have you considered Naruto's offer?"
Zabuza fell into thought.
He was tired of this life. If he went to Konoha, perhaps he might witness that attack again. That lightning dragon had been too beautiful.
"I'll go with you. I'm already tired of this life. Besides, I don't want to become the target of that attack."
"Idiot, I order you to teach me that jutsu." Sasuke walked up to Naruto and said.
"No." Naruto answered simply.
"What do you mean? That power should belong to me, the genius of the Uchiha Clan," Sasuke said.
"I won't teach you. All you care about is revenge and pursuing power." Naruto walked away, leaving Sasuke seething with anger.
A few days later, everyone was packing at Tazuna's house, preparing to leave. The bridge had been completed, and the Land of Waves had begun to recover from Gato's tyranny. Haku, Naruto, and Hinata had become good friends because they shared similar backgrounds—they all had something sealed inside them. Whether it was a demon or a bloodline limit, they had been hated and driven away by others.
After Naruto summoned the Healing Fox to help with the treatment, Haku recovered well. Zabuza gave Naruto some pointers on his swordsmanship style. When they learned that Naruto was from the Uchiha Clan, Zabuza and Kakashi were both extremely surprised.
The entire town had gathered on the bridge to bid farewell to the heroes—the brave ninja who had killed Gato and liberated the Land of Waves.
Naruto said to Inari:
"Stop crying, Inari. I'll come back to see you." Inari nodded.
Naruto then said to old Tazuna:
"Old man, take care."
"Goodbye. Don't forget to come visit us," Tazuna said. After everyone nodded, they set off together for Konoha Village.
"What should we name this bridge?" a villager asked.
"How about the 'Super Great Tazuna Bridge'?" Tazuna suggested, only to be smacked on the head by Tsunami.
"How about the 'Great Naruto Bridge'? After all, he killed Gato and persuaded Inari to fight for what he wanted," Tsunami suggested. Everyone agreed.
"Then it shall be the Great Naruto Bridge." Tazuna watched them leave.
...One Day Later, Hokage's Office...
"I'll allow it. Zabuza, as a rogue ninja, you will be placed under probation for six months," the Hokage said. Zabuza nodded.
"Haku, you can join a rookie team. What do you think?" he proposed.
"Actually, Lord Hokage, I want to become a medical ninja. I'm familiar with medicinal herbs."
The Hokage thought for a moment.
"Very well. You can begin at the hospital. I'll have someone teach you the basics, but you will still need to join a rookie team and advance to at least chunin before you can focus on medical work full-time," the Hokage explained. Haku nodded.
"Dismissed," the Hokage said.
"Naruto-kun, how about I treat you to ramen?" the Hokage offered.
Naruto happily leaped into the air and shouted:
"Ramen, ramen!"
