Background

Obito released the Nine-Tails during Kushina Uzumaki’s childbirth, leading Minato Namikaze and Kushina to sacrifice themselves to seal it in Naruto. The incident intensified Konoha’s suspicion and persecution of the Uchiha clan. 1

As a child, Obito dreamed of becoming Hokage but was ridiculed by his classmates; Rin Nohara alone defended him.
