Background / History
Makoto was born in Konoha’s 27th year and was reputed to possess unusually strong spiritual energy from birth. Before the age of six, he frequently entered deep sleep despite using secret medicines to strengthen his body. He awakened his Two-Tomoe Sharingan at ten and his Three-Tomoe Sharingan at thirteen, developing Chidori and Rasengan during those respective years. 169
Before receiving the Family Uplift System, Makoto had already accumulated wealth and influence through commerce. He founded the Uchiha Consortium, led the Golden Consortium, and secretly controlled the Umbrella Consortium. Uchiha businesses—including medical, food, ninja-tool, and mining ventures—substantially improved clan subsidies and living standards. 24 31 169
The system arrived after three months of delay and granted chakra refinement, derivation cards, bloodline enhancement, and his Mangekyō Sharingan. Its family-based rewards prompted Makoto to focus on increasing the Uchiha Clan’s cohesion, wealth, and military strength. 1 20
Makoto publicly revealed his Mangekyō before the Third Shinobi World War, restoring the clan’s confidence after nearly a decade without a Mangekyō wielder. He provided the clan with Chidori and the potential S-rank Lightning Cutter, filling a gap left by lost Uchiha techniques. 2 3
During his journey outside Konoha, Makoto defeated Mōryō, gained the attention of the major villages, and became a black-market target. He subsequently expanded Uchiha influence through alliances, commercial monopolies, covert manipulation, and the creation or empowerment of additional Mangekyō users. 18 19 54 58
His long-term system mission required him to become Konoha’s Hokage within ten years. After undermining Hiruzen Sarutobi’s political position and consolidating influence within Konoha, Makoto became the Fourth Hokage and received the space-time divine artifact Plow. 20 95 182 183
Later, Makoto prepared the shinobi world for conflict with Ōtsutsuki Isshiki and other extraterrestrial threats. He gathered tailed-beast chakra, revived historical powerhouses, allied with Madara Uchiha and Black Zetsu, drew three Ōtsutsuki from another world into the conflict, and eventually became the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki. 165 170 186 213 242
Appearance
Makoto initially had a youthful, handsome face, straight black hair tied in a low ponytail, and the Uchiha clan uniform bearing the fan crest. He wears the pale-violet diamond of the Strength of a Hundred Seal on his forehead. 1
Following his ascent to Six Paths level, his appearance became markedly Ōtsutsuki-like. 120 179
- Lustrous silver-white hair and pale, nearly colorless skin.
- Long wooden horns extending from his forehead.
- Chakra-formed white robe decorated with black magatama.
- High-purity Byakugan in Ōtsutsuki Mode; later possesses Rinnegan and Tenseigan.
- Delicate features so striking that Maki initially mistook him for a girl. 11
- A red nine-tomoe Rinne Sharingan in his forehead and palms after becoming the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki. 242
Personality
Makoto is highly strategic and habitually prepares layered contingencies. He builds commercial networks, uses rumors and political pressure as weapons, maintains spies across major villages, and treats information control as essential to warfare. 24 55 74
He is ambitious, confident, and openly acknowledges his own arrogance when Kaguya Takeori confronts him about his condescending view of others. His confidence is tempered by awareness of threats beyond his strength, particularly Six Paths-level beings and Isshiki. 66 100 169
Although Makoto initially considers compassion a weakness and derives Ayakashikone partly to suppress it, he retains affection for his family and children. He is protective of Obito’s future, plays with Itachi, gives Shisui gifts, and takes an interest in preventing tragedies he knows may occur. 10 22 24 74 187
Makoto is also manipulative and ruthless when pursuing his goals. He coerces rivals, alters Pakura’s mind, plans to use historical regrets to recruit revived figures, and is willing to exploit enemies’ fears or attachments. 81 183 184 214
Abilities & Skills
Mangekyō Sharingan
Makoto’s Mangekyō grants extraordinary ocular power, rapid recovery, and multiple specialized techniques. His ocular power recovers far faster than that of previous Uchiha Mangekyō users. 3
- Ōkuninushi-no-Kami — Allows Makoto to control chakra around him; he claims this control prevents attacks from reaching him. 1 4
- Ōmuchi Tenjin: Control — Greatly improves chakra control, reducing waste and making chakra usage feel as natural as moving a limb. 6
- Umasiashikabi — An unfinished ocular technique created after absorbing Dragon Vein power. It drastically slows Makoto’s perception of time, allowing several minutes of subjective thought in less than a second. 13
- Consumes chakra at an extreme and increasing rate.
- Causes exhaustion and bloody tears while undeveloped. 13
- Genjutsu mastery — Makoto can overpower other Mangekyō users, immobilize high-level opponents, and manipulate battlefield perceptions. 40 59 217
Susanoo
Makoto can manifest a Complete Susanoo equipped with the Yata Mirror and Sword of Totsuka. His Susanoo’s destructive power was sufficient to split Mōryō’s underground palace apart. 15
- Uses the Yata Mirror to block attacks.
- Uses the Sword of Totsuka to seal targets.
- Developed the Susanoo Strength Technique, which compresses Susanoo constructs into smaller but much stronger forms. 190
- Can condense Susanoo into wearable Susanoo Armor. 190
- Later merged the powers of numerous Mangekyō users to create a thousand-meter Susanoo against Momoshiki. 234
Ayakashikone
Ayakashikone (Fearful Reverence) is an S-rank pseudo-Divine Technique derived through the system. It combines hypnotic guidance, rhetoric, mannerisms, and genjutsu to influence minds without obvious chakra use. 10
- Activates through appearance, speech, conduct, and rhetoric.
- Can subtly guide emotions and mental states through the target’s senses.
- Alters Makoto’s own demeanor to support deception.
- Enhances his resistance to genjutsu.
- Ordinary genjutsu-dispelling methods are ineffective.
- Ineffective against those devoid of emotion or capable of overcoming emotion.
- Can affect Makoto’s own mind. 10
Six Paths and Ōtsutsuki Powers
Makoto’s Advanced Sage Body, Ōtsutsuki power, and completed bloodline fusion elevated him to Six Paths level. 102 120 121
- Power of All Things — A superior energy formed by fusing Yin and Yang powers with purchased Ōtsutsuki power. 102
- Ōtsutsuki Mode — Grants an Ōtsutsuki-like chakra transformation, enhanced durability, and high-purity Byakugan. 120
- Byakugan — Provides a visual range vastly beyond ordinary Hyūga capabilities. 120
- Rinnegan and Tenseigan — Obtained through the recovery of his Rinnegan and absorption of the Giant Tenseigan’s ocular power. 179 203 210

- Ten-Tails jinchūriki transformation — Gains a red nine-tomoe Rinne Sharingan and the power associated with becoming the Ten-Tails’ host. 242
Space-Time Techniques
Makoto uses several space-time techniques and artifacts to travel, rescue allies, breach seals, and manipulate battlefields.
- Flying Thunder God / Reverse Flying Thunder God — Used to rapidly reposition and save Kaguya Takeori from Isshiki’s Daikokuten. 72 228
- Kamui — Used alongside Yomotsu Hirasaka to break through the seal surrounding Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. 208
- Yomotsu Hirasaka — Enables dimensional movement; Makoto used it to conceal his true body while leaving a phantom behind. 203
- Spatial Strangulation — Used to defeat Isshiki and create a spatial void before transferring him to the Kamui dimension. 230
- Plow — An Ōtsutsuki space-time artifact capable of travel through space and time, usable only by someone with both space-time ability and an Ōtsutsuki bloodline. 183 184
Chakra Absorption and Restoration
Makoto can absorb chakra from opponents and employ Yang Release for reconstruction.
- Absorbed Rōshi’s chakra to defeat him. 93
- Absorbed Pakura’s chakra to stop her explosive-tag detonation. 81
- Restored Nagato’s eyes after removing the Rinnegan by using Yang Release. 179
- Regenerated Obito’s scars and damaged body with Yin–Yang Release. 168
Reanimation and Resurrection
Makoto acquired an improved Impure World Reincarnation technique from Orochimaru and used it to revive Kagami Uchiha and other deceased Mangekyō users. 98 100 103
- Revived Uchiha Naka, Rai, Chiri, and Baru to reinforce the clan. 103
- Combined summoning methods with reanimation to call historical powerhouses from the Pure Land. 210 213
- Used Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu to return reanimated Uchiha powerhouses to their living peak states. 242
Ninjutsu, Swordsmanship, and Combat
Makoto is an accomplished combatant beyond his ocular powers.
- Chidori / Lightning Cutter — Developed Chidori himself; Lightning Cutter is its potential S-rank upgrade and can stimulate body cells to enhance movement. 2
- Grand Swordmaster cultivation — Received from an annual gift pack, granting refined swordsmanship capable of cutting steel with smooth, precise strikes. 21
- Kusanagi Sword proficiency — Used the Kusanagi Sword against Isshiki with enough force to carve a massive canyon. 226
- Shadow Clone Technique — Used a full-power clone to conduct major operations while his true body remained hidden. 242
