Yrel prepared the Draenei to abandon Draenor for Azeroth while leading their defense against the Horde’s siege of Shattrath. After destroying the Fel Cannons, she dueled Blackhand, whose fight was secretly aided by Gul'dan, and the battle remained unresolved.

• Yrel expanded the Council of Exarchs and appointed new leaders as the Draenei fortified Talador and learned the Horde was attacking other peoples across Draenor.
• Ye Ting and Samara revealed that fel energy was ruining Draenor, and Ye Ting proposed repairing the Genedar and bringing the Draenei to Azeroth as allies against the Burning Legion.
• Yrel accepted Ye Ting’s plan, and the Draenei restored the Genedar at Oshu'gun while preparing to make the Horde believe Shattrath and Auchindoun could still be conquered.
• The Horde besieged Shattrath, and Yrel led the defenders through repeated assaults as the Draenei’s food and Arkenite Crystal supplies dwindled.
• Yrel and Velen exploited Kil'jaeden’s confidence by letting the Horde believe it was close to victory, and Blackhand launched the decisive assault on Shattrath.
• Gul'dan’s Fel Cannons shattered Shattrath’s barrier, but Yrel led the Immortal Cavalry through the disordered Horde army, killed Kasrakel, and broke through toward the cannons.
• Yrel destroyed the Fel Cannons’ stored ammunition while dueling Blackhand, who attacked her with his elite strength as Gul'dan secretly weakened her shadow magic and helped him recover.
• Yrel switched to Shadowform and fought Blackhand with shadow magic, while Gul'dan intervened openly and Blackhand forced her back into melee.

Ye Ting brought the Draenei to Azeroth as Arthas began his assault on Quel'Thalas, and he rescued Sylvanas from the Scourge. As Arthas targeted the Sunwell and the High Elves fought to defend their kingdom, a golden-winged figure arrived to aid Lor'themar.

• Yrel defeated Blackhand, and Ye Ting escaped Draenor with the Draenei aboard the Genedar.
• Ye Ting landed near Quel'Thalas and learned that Arthas had taken Frostmourne and brought the Scourge into Lordaeron.
• Sylvanas and her rangers fought a losing retreat against Arthas until Ye Ting arrived and defeated him.
• Ner'zhul attacked Ye Ting and Sylvanas through the Scourge, but Ye Ting used the Third Magic and a Holy Light strike to escape with her.
• Arthas captured the moon crystals, attacked Quel'Danas Isle, and killed Anasterian Sunstrider to claim the way to the Sunwell.
• Vereesa and Lor'themar led the High Elves against Baron Rivendare's Scourge army as its forces threatened to break their lines.
• A winged figure glowing with golden light blocked the death knights' charge, and a familiar female voice questioned Lor'themar's tactics.

Ye Ting helped Sylvanas save Quel’Thalas, then returned to Caer Darrow and set out with Calia Menethil to prepare her to reclaim Lordaeron. Their journey brought them to a village ruled by a traitor, where Calia was defeated by a death knight as Ye Ting faced the Scourge.

• Sylvanas, Ye Ting, and the High Elf paladins drove Rivendare’s forces back, then hurried to Quel’Danas after an explosion struck the Sunwell.
• Ye Ting and the elves found Arthas and the traitor Dar’Khan at the Sunwell, but Arthas escaped with Sunwell water after unleashing a banshee’s wail.
• Ye Ting transformed the Sunwell into Anveena and brought her to Silvermoon City, then left Quel’Thalas to check on the Barov family.
• At Caer Darrow, Ye Ting reunited with his companions and comforted Calia Menethil, promising to help her restore Lordaeron.
• Ye Ting urged Calia to become king and rally the people against the Scourge, and she agreed before leaving Caer Darrow with him for practical training.
• Calia trained and studied as she and Ye Ting traveled through devastated Lordaeron, where she confronted the destruction in Andorhal and vowed to lead its people toward a better future.
• Ye Ting and Calia followed scavengers to a village, where Calia helped fight undead and then discovered that Baron Bishop was secretly serving Arthas.
• Bishop’s Scourge allies attacked, and Calia fought Hubert the Slayer alone until his Shield of Darkness blasted her into a wall, and Ye Ting defended himself behind a Prismatic Wall and prepared another spell.

Calia gained red dragon power and the Holy Light as she began gathering Lordaeron’s survivors, while Ye Ting returned to Dalaran to help prepare for the Scourge. Dalaran repelled Arthas’s first assault, and Ye Ting thwarted Kel'Thuzad’s attempt to sabotage its magical barrier as the Scourge prepared another plan.

• Ye Ting gave Calia Alexstrasza’s red Dragon bloodline, awakening her Holy Light, and Calia executed Laurie Bishop before accepting leadership of Darson Barony.
• Calia gained Taelan Fordring’s support, established Hearthglen as her headquarters, and began gathering forces to protect Lordaeron.
• Ye Ting met Medivh in Dalaran and reunited with Jaina, helping her complete Mass Teleportation before joining the city’s defense preparations.
• Ye Ting warned Antonidas and the Kirin Tor that the Scourge sought the artifacts in Dalaran and could exploit hidden cultists, but the mages chose to defend the city and its treasury.
• Antonidas raised a magical barrier against Arthas’s army, and Kael'thas broke off his attack on Arthas after Frostmourne’s advantage became clear.
• The barrier destroyed the Scourge’s assault, but Kel'Thuzad discovered how to sabotage one of its nodes and open Dalaran’s gates.
• Kel'Thuzad’s hidden mechanism exploded without harming the barrier because Ye Ting had moved the targeted node to his disciple’s tower, so Kel'Thuzad turned to another plan.
