Arc 17The Fall of Zul'Aman

Ye Ting secured the Wildhammer Dwarves’ support and led the Alliance against the Amani Trolls, uncovering Malacrass’s sacrifice ritual and freeing the Loa. With the Troll army shattered and Malacrass dead, the Alliance celebrated victory and prepared to turn toward the Hinterlands.

  • Ye Ting won the Wildhammer Dwarves’ alliance and arranged a brandy trade after Alleria and Ye Ting impressed them at a banquet.

Arc 18The Hinterlands and Grim Batol

Ye Ting engineered the destruction of the Hinterlands Troll tribes, then led an elite squad into Grim Batol, where they seized the Dragon Soul and helped the Dragon Aspects drive Deathwing away. The arc ended with the Horde fleet attacking across the sea, as Daelin’s fleet struggled against the Orc transports and red dragons.

  • Ye Ting reassured Garona after she described the strength and senses granted by the demigods’ blessing, then settled Sylvanas’s concern about her relationship with him.
  • Ye Ting manipulated the Amani remnants and rival Hinterlands Troll tribes into a civil war, then led the Alliance in destroying the weakened tribes and besieging the Vilebranch at Jintha'Alor.

Arc 19The Alterac Gambit

Ye Ting helped the Alliance repel the Horde in the Arathi Highlands, then lured Orgrim’s forces through Poison Mist Gorge toward Alterac. As Alterac’s ruler and the Barov family considered surrendering to the Horde, Sandor Liver arrived as the Alliance’s envoy and battlefield commander.

  • The Red Dragons and Alliance fleet destroyed the Horde’s ships, then Ye Ting joined the march to Stromgarde and learned that Death Knights had shattered its defenders.
  • Ye Ting and Lothar fought the Horde at Northfold Farm, then Ye Ting organized mounted raids that exhausted Varok Saurfang’s wolf riders and forced the Horde to reconsider its hold on Arathi.

Arc 20The Fall of Gul'dan

Ye Ting helped the Alliance drive Orgrim’s Horde from Alterac, defending Caer Darrow until the Orcs retreated into the mountains. As the Alliance prepared its counteroffensive, Gul'dan’s hunt for the Eye of Sargeras ended in his death, while Orgrim fled through the Wetlands with Alliance forces closing in.

  • Ye Ting secured Janice and the Barov family’s support, began teaching Ilucia, and helped the Alliance learn of the Horde’s movements in Alterac.
  • Orgrim turned on King Perenolde, seized the capital, and advanced through Barov territory toward Caer Darrow, where Ye Ting and Onyxia prepared the defenses.
