Ye Ting and the Ministry lured Voldemort’s forces into a trap at Azkaban, where Ye Ting destroyed Voldemort’s Horcruxes and defeated him. The war ended with the Ministry victorious, and years later Ye Ting had become Headmaster of Hogwarts and a leading wizarding official.

• The Ministry arrested many Death Eaters and prepared Azkaban as a trap, while Voldemort attacked the prison to free his followers and found himself surrounded by Aurors and Order fighters.
• Ye Ting arrived at Azkaban as Voldemort confronted the Ministry, then revealed himself and fought Voldemort while Hermione, Penelope Clearwater, Fleur, Cho Chang, and Luna Lovegood joined the battle.
• Ye Ting’s Silver White Hope killed Nagini, destroying Voldemort’s final Horcrux, while Ye Ting taunted Voldemort and concealed the true battlefield with an illusion.
• Ye Ting dispelled the illusion to reveal that the Ministry, centaurs, and Larey had defeated or driven back Voldemort’s forces, then revealed his Dimensional Anchor had trapped them at Azkaban.
• Hermione and the others presented the destroyed Horcruxes, and Ye Ting and Voldemort began a final duel as their armies resumed fighting.
• Ye Ting overpowered Voldemort in a contest of magical strength and killed him, leaving his soul nowhere to flee because every Horcrux had been destroyed.
• The Ministry captured the remaining Death Eaters, and the postwar account later described Ye Ting becoming Headmaster of Hogwarts and a prominent wizarding leader.

Ye Ting entered Azeroth with his dragons, established himself as a mage and strategist, and helped Stormwind understand and resist the Horde. Garona joined him after he freed her from Gul’dan’s control, while the Horde began a major assault on Stormwind.

• Ye Ting brought his three dragons into Azeroth, where they eventually became Dragon Aspects, and learned that they had used his hair to help Aegwynn conceive Medivh.
• Ye Ting reached Stormwind, studied the orcs, and gave King Llane and the Kirin Tor a detailed report on the Horde and its fel magic.
• Ye Ting freed Garona from her cage at Northshire Abbey, earned her trust, and helped defend the abbey from an orc attack with a devastating Blizzard.
• Garona swore loyalty to Ye Ting, who removed Gul’dan’s influence from her and the Kingslayers before bringing her to Stormwind.
• Ye Ting and Garona helped Stormwind anticipate Horde movements, reducing its losses as fighting spread through Elwynn Forest and the other kingdoms debated an alliance.
• Deathwing manipulated both sides and revealed the Dragon Soul to Rend Blackhand and Gul’dan, while Terenas organized aid and refugee camps.
• As the Horde prepared to besiege Stormwind, Lothar secretly led most of the city’s cavalry into Elwynn Forest, and Cho’gall’s catapults began bombarding the walls.

Stormwind repelled the first Orc assault, while Ye Ting and his allies defeated Sargeras and restored Medivh’s purpose. As the Horde forced Stormwind’s evacuation, Ye Ting helped Llane seek an alliance and agreed to teach Jaina.

• King Llane and Ye Ting rallied Stormwind’s defenders, and Anduin Lothar’s surprise cavalry attack shattered the Orc encampment and drove Cho’gall and Kilrogg into retreat.
• Khadgar revealed Medivh’s betrayal, and Ye Ting, Lothar, Garona, and Khadgar went with Aegwynn to Karazhan to confront him.
• Ye Ting and the Dragon Aspects helped defeat Sargeras, and Ye Ting and Aegwynn saved Medivh’s soul in the Resurrection Stone.
• Ye Ting, Medivh, and Aegwynn founded the Karazhan Council with support from the Dragon Aspects and Khadgar.
• Orgrim killed Blackhand and took command of the Horde, which besieged Stormwind until Llane ordered the people to evacuate north.
• Ye Ting held back the Horde with a vast wall of fire, allowing Stormwind’s refugees to escape to Southshore before he joined Llane in seeking aid from Lordaeron.
• Ye Ting warned the rulers that the Orcs threatened all of Azeroth and introduced Garona as a mixed-blood Orc who served him.
• Daelin asked Ye Ting to teach Jaina, and Ye Ting accepted her as his apprentice.

Ye Ting helped establish the Alliance, secured High Elf support, and gathered allies as the Horde threatened Khaz Modan. He then pushed Quel'Thalas to confront the Amani Trolls, leaving the kingdom united behind a campaign against them.

• The kings founded the Alliance, appointed Anduin Lothar as Supreme Commander, and approved Ye Ting as military advisor.
• Ye Ting traveled to Silvermoon City, persuaded King Anasterian to honor Quel'Thalas’s ancient covenant, and revealed the Orcs’ connection to fel corruption.
• Ye Ting won the respect of the Farstriders, recruited a thousand rangers and many priests, and helped Liadrin become one of the first paladins.
• After the Horde invaded Khaz Modan with Gul'dan’s Death Knights, Ye Ting urged the Alliance to prepare and proposed a joint campaign against the Amani Trolls.
• Ye Ting argued before the Silvermoon Council that an Orc-Troll alliance could threaten Quel'Thalas, while Dar'Khan Drathir and other conservatives opposed the campaign.
• Alleria and Sylvanas spread news of the council’s opposition, prompting High Elves across Quel'Thalas to demand action.
• King Anasterian announced that Quel'Thalas would wage war against the Amani Trolls, and the council and nobles rallied behind the campaign.
