Hinata and White

"Who are you?" Jin looked at the other person. What terrified him was that he had not noticed her presence at all. She was merely a female ninja in her thirties, with long hair draped over her shoulders. Though she was beautiful, she gave off an utterly oppressive feeling!

"Oh, so she's that powerful! I thought the two of us could defeat her," White said self-critically.

"It's good to have ambition. Dealing with her can wait until later; after all, we're still young. Let's hurry on our way! If we run into her again, we'll probably have to fight for our lives! She was only temporarily bluffed by me," Jin encouraged her.

"You're still amazing, Jin. You even bluffed Kage-level Orochimaru!" White smiled happily.

Jin gave a bitter smile, his heart filled with helplessness. I still have too little experience! I need to train more in the future! In the recent battles, I only defeated my enemies by relying on my enormous chakra reserves and my ultra-fast barrage of twelve hand seals per second.

The two walked along the road, their shadows gradually stretching longer. The sun set, and night was about to fall. At last, they arrived at a small town.

Inside the inn.

"Are you going to sleep or not? Are you still planning to have a midnight snack?" Jin asked.

"No! Jin, you go to sleep first!" White said, blushing.

"How old are we? All you do is think nonsense all day. Hurry up and sleep. Tomorrow we still have to search the area for bandits. If you still refuse to sleep, I'll carry you to bed myself," Jin said irritably, grumbling inwardly, We've already had five midnight snacks tonight. I don't mind, but if White gains even a little weight, my heart will be trampled into a hundred and eight thousand pieces! Is this easy for me?

"All right, all right! I'll sleep, okay? You only know how to bully me!" White muttered with a deeply unwilling expression, though inwardly she rejoiced. Jin is still so good to me! If I could lie beside Jin and sleep every day, that would be such a wonderful thing!

If Jin had known what White was thinking, he would not have slept that night. He definitely would have gotten up to check what kind of almanac it was today!

Nothing happened that night. Early the next morning, when Jin woke up, he found White quietly staring at him. The sight gave him quite a fright, and he asked, "What are you looking at me for?"

White smiled beautifully and pointed at the corner of Jin's mouth. "You're drooling!"

Jin froze at once, then touched the corner of his mouth and grinned foolishly. "I thought you'd fallen for me! Turns out you were watching me make a fool of myself. I dreamed about a girl, so I unconsciously started drooling."

"Who was that girl? It wasn't me, was it?" White asked, blushing.

"No! It was Hinata Hyuga from Konoha Village, a cute little girl!" Jin said carelessly.

White was instantly disappointed. I'm just one of Jin's tools.

Seeing White's expression change repeatedly, Jin realized something was wrong. He instantly understood the key issue and immediately said, "There was another girl who actually kissed me in my dream. She kissed me so hard I drooled. Guess who it was?"

White's expression had already darkened, and she casually replied, "I don't know!"

Jin's heart ached. What do I do? Being the protagonist really isn't easy! How am I supposed to choose between Hinata and White?
