Background

Shisui was born into the Uchiha Clan, two months before Saitama. His mother is Uchiha Orange, while his father serves in the Konoha Police Force. His grandfather, Kagami Uchiha, had belonged to the Second Hokage’s elite guard and passed down Leaf Style swordsmanship through the family. 2 3

Even as a child, Shisui followed a demanding morning sword-training routine set by his father. He met Saitama when they were five and quickly formed a close friendship with him. After Saitama asked permission to learn from him, the two began training together regularly in Leaf Style swordsmanship. 1 2

Shisui enrolled in the Ninja Academy alongside Saitama and Umino Iruka. During his introduction, he declared his ambition to become “the second strongest man in the world,” playfully following Saitama’s claim that he would become the strongest. 3

He is deeply loyal to both the Uchiha Clan and Konoha, a conflict that becomes increasingly painful after Saitama’s presumed death, survival, and eventual defection. Shisui recognizes that Konoha treated Saitama unfairly before Danzo’s ambush, but he cannot accept Saitama’s later crimes or abandon his duty to the village. 100 110

Shisui is protective of his comrades and willing to sacrifice himself for them. During the final confrontation with Saitama, he intervenes to save Might Guy and uses Kotoamatsukami in an attempt to end the conflict without killing his former friend. 144
