No stars, moon, or naturally occurring light remained; the world was left beneath a “bottomless darkness.” Its arrival coincided with Gu Yuena’s declaration of total war between humanity and Soul Beasts. 51

After returning from death with power drawn from World Origin and draconic authority, Qian Yuhan announced that the Evil Dragon’s authority was eroding her will. She chose to enter eternal slumber, becoming the sun of the new era while containing that destructive will within herself. 87 89

The first dawn melted snow, thawed rivers, and restored light to a population that had nearly forgotten what shadows were. 90

In the era that followed, cities observed ten breaths of silence at sunrise. Their faith generated Holy Light that flowed into the sun, supporting Qian Yuhan’s continuing struggle against the Evil Dragon’s corrosion. 91
