History

The Body Sect was renowned in the era of Soul Land II. It maintained an unbroken succession of Super Douluo-level experts and served as one of the three Douluo nations' pillars of resistance during the war against the Sun Moon Empire. The war nearly wiped out its young elites and severely damaged its inheritance, resources, and overall strength. 19 57

Despite its decline, the sect retained a ten-thousand-year foundation and powerful elder generation. Its reduced status was relative to organizations such as Shrek Academy, the Tang Sect, Spirit Pagoda, and War God Hall; it remained an intimidating force to most factions. 19

Before its revival, the Body Sect had no permanent home. Its small number of disciples wandered the continent, accepting missions and sparring matches for sustenance and cultivation resources. Zuo Qiu Lun began gathering neglected or uncertain body martial soul masters to Dawn Island, prompting Mu Ye to establish a fixed sect residence. 48

Dawn Island

Dawn Island is a remote, mist-shrouded island in the Federation's eastern waters. Hidden reefs make approach by large ship hazardous, while its steep mountains, dense primeval forest, and surrounding sea provide natural defenses and harsh training grounds. 48

The sect's buildings are rugged stone-and-wood structures built against the island's main peak. Its mountain walls and platforms bear fist, palm, elbow, and headbutt marks left by generations of body tempering. 48

Training Grounds

• Disciples practice bare-handed combat on the main plaza, emphasizing direct strength and bodily control. 48
• Training includes carrying boulders up mountain paths, breathing and meditation exercises, survival training in the forest, and trials in the deep sea. 48

Cultivation Methods

The Body Sect specializes in body martial souls, using physical tempering, blood vitality, and spiritual power as complementary foundations. Its long-standing research into the body and spiritual power contributed significantly to later developments in spiritual-power cultivation. 23

Body martial soul masters are limited chiefly by whether their blood vitality and spiritual power can meet the necessary standard. The sect's inherited battle techniques can cultivate a state of unity between man and heaven, allowing intent and spiritual power to be controlled with exceptional precision. 23 80

Re-emergence

Mu Ye's rank-95 breakthrough became a rallying point for the Body Sect. Its elders and disciples viewed the event as proof that the sect's long decline could be reversed. 50

Following his breakthrough, Mu Ye visited major Federation forces and punished figures who had disparaged him or the Body Sect. He then confronted Shrek Academy over the sect's lost Secret of Inheritance, which had been retained by Shrek since the war ten thousand years earlier. 50 54

Mu Ye's return from Shrek Academy, carrying the restored inheritance, formally ended the sect's dormancy. The Body Sect began openly recruiting again, drawing body martial soul masters who lacked a clear path of cultivation. 54

Star Luo Exchange

The Body Sect joined the exchange delegation traveling from Douluo Continent to Star Luo Continent. Peng Song led its young disciples aboard soul-conducting warships, and Song Yanming later repelled a Green Skull attack on their train. 58 60

During the Continental Young Elite Soul Master Tournament, Zuo Qiu Lun became one of the delegation's most conspicuous competitors. He defeated Hua Lantang and Dai Yueyan in single clashes, attracting recruits and raising the sect's profile on Star Luo Continent. 63 64 65

After the exchange, the sect recruited another group of new disciples on Star Luo Continent. 77
