A cold glint flashed in Aibo's eyes. He had waited a long time for this day.
Because Ultear had been undercover in the Magic Council all along, she knew Jellal's entire plan.
The Tower of Heaven was complete. Jellal intended to set his plan in motion in a week. He would send Erza's childhood companions to "invite" her to the tower, where she would become the sacrifice to resurrect Zeref.
At the same time, he would spread word that the Tower of Heaven was complete and that Jellal intended to resurrect Zeref, forcing the Magic Council to vote on firing Etherion.
The council chairman would be unable to attend the meeting for certain reasons. With a majority of the votes—five—Jellal could launch Etherion outright.
Jellal had already prepared the magic circle. The Magic Crystals inside the Tower of Heaven would absorb all of Etherion's power. Then, with Erza as the sacrifice, he would only need to complete the final step to resurrect Zeref!
It was a meticulous plan. Too bad Jellal had no idea there was a mole at his side.
Now that Aibo knew the whole plan, he certainly wouldn't let Jellal succeed.
He would let Erza see Jellal's ugly true colors. Then, when Jellal was at his most triumphant, Aibo would shatter his fantasy and plunge him into the blackest despair!

He couldn't wait to see Jellal's face when the plan he had spent years painstakingly preparing fell apart before his eyes and every last hope vanished.
Aibo could no longer contain his wicked grin.
Beside him, Lucy shivered for no apparent reason. She had the feeling Aibo was thinking about something terrible. "So what do you need me to do for the experiment?"
