Background / History

Tsunade is a Senju Clan descendant, a disciple of Sarutobi Hiruzen, and one of the Three Sannin alongside Jiraiya and Orochimaru. During the Third Shinobi World War, she repeatedly neutralized Chiyo's poisons and developed antidotes, undermining one of Sunagakure's principal battlefield advantages. 73 97

The deaths of her younger brother Nawaki and her lover Dan Katō left her exhausted by war and bloodshed. She abandoned Konoha, developed hemophobia, and spent her years of wandering gambling and drinking with Shizune at her side. 88
