The battlefield fell deathly silent.

Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan remained fixed on Lie Yang's raised right arm, his pupil shrinking continuously.

He saw it clearly.

There was no chakra giant.

No special ocular technique.

Not even Lightning Release chakra coating his body.

Lie Yang had merely raised one arm, yet he had blocked Susanoo's massive fist head-on!

The air at the point where fist met palm continued to tremble. Green ocular power rippled outward like water, while the ground beneath Lie Yang collapsed layer by layer, cracks spreading dozens of meters away.

Yet his right arm did not bend.

Nor did his body retreat.

Might Guy looked up at the scene, his throat seeming to choke up.

He knew better than anyone how heavy that punch was.

When Susanoo threw a punch, even the surrounding air was crushed apart. The shockwave raised by its descent alone had forced them back dozens of meters.

Yet Lie Yang, who had truly borne that gigantic fist, had not taken a single step back!

"Impossible..."

Might Guy lowered his head and looked at his hands.

"Even if I opened higher Gates, I couldn't possibly catch it with just one arm."

Kurenai Yuhi's breathing tightened.

"Guy, even you couldn't do it?"

"I couldn't."

Might Guy answered without the slightest hesitation.

"Even if I risked my life and shattered every bone in my body, there is no way I could catch that blow barehanded."

Those words drained the last trace of color from Kurenai Yuhi's face.

Might Guy had tempered his body to a level beyond ordinary imagination.

His taijutsu and the Eight Gates were already the pinnacle of Konoha's strength.

If even he said he could not do it at the cost of his life, then Lie Yang's body could no longer be measured by the standards of a ninja!

Kurenai Yuhi stared at the figure beneath the giant fist, her voice trembling slightly.

"Monster..."

"Uchiha Lieyang is simply a monster!"

Shisui was equally unable to remain calm.

His Mangekyō Sharingan continuously poured forth ocular power, maintaining Susanoo's giant fist as it pressed downward.

He could clearly feel the resistance returning through the fist.

It was not ninjutsu.

It was not a chakra shield.

It was pure physical strength, honed to the extreme!

"Get down!"

The Mangekyō Sharingan in Shisui's eyes spun madly.

Boom!

The green giant fist sank again.

The earth beneath Lie Yang collapsed with a thunderous crash, his legs already buried in the dirt. Every muscle in his right arm tightened, veins bulging beneath his skin as his entire arm endured unimaginable pressure.

From the outside, his clothes were merely torn and his body shook ever so slightly.

But only Lie Yang himself knew how heavy that punch truly was.

A tearing pain continuously shot through the muscles in his right arm.

The bones in his shoulder, spine, waist, abdomen, and legs all let out a series of fine cracking sounds.

The force within Susanoo's giant fist spread through his arm and throughout his body, making every muscle involved in exerting strength ache.

A metallic sweetness rose in his throat.

Strong.

This power held no complicated variations and required no calculation of attack trajectories.

Four meters of ocular-power bone, coupled with the immense weight of Susanoo, had utterly crushed all technique.

Deflecting force was meaningless.

Redirecting force was meaningless.

No matter how precise one's method of exerting strength was, it could not make this force vanish into thin air.

There was only a direct clash!

The confusion in Lie Yang's eyes deepened.

The first stage of the Gene Lock pushed his control over his body to its limits.

His feet sank into the dirt.

The strength in his calves, waist, abdomen, back, and right arm converged at once.

His Adam's apple bobbed as he forcibly swallowed the blood that had risen to his mouth.

The next instant, azure lightning suddenly exploded from within his body!

Violent currents covered his entire body.

Shisui's pupils contracted.

"Lightning Body Flicker!"

Lie Yang neither advanced nor retreated.

Borrowing the force of their deadlock, his body suddenly shifted sideways to the right!

The giant fist lost its support and crashed down with all the force it had yet to release.

Boom!

The ground completely collapsed.

Dirt and rock across dozens of meters exploded simultaneously, leaving a massive depression in the center of the plain. The shockwave swept outward along the ground, forcing Kakashi and the other two to retreat again.

Lie Yang had already appeared behind Shisui.

The right arm that had just endured that immense pressure was still somewhat numb.

Yet he seemed not to feel it at all, drawing a kunai from his ninja tool pouch with his left hand.

Lightning Release chakra surged wildly from his palm!

Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!

A piercing cry instantly echoed across the plain.

Azure currents gathered densely over the kunai's surface, rapidly extending into a sharp electric blade that trembled without cease.

Kakashi's expression changed.

"Lightning Cutter?"

"No!"

Lie Yang had not used the exact same ninjutsu as him.

Kakashi's Lightning Cutter concentrated a vast amount of Lightning Release chakra in the palm, relying on a high-speed charge to pierce the enemy.

Lie Yang, however, was using the kunai as a vessel for chakra.

Highly condensed lightning coated its blade, vibrating frantically at a frequency far beyond ordinary Lightning Release!

That kunai was no longer an ordinary ninja tool.

It was more like a thunderous blade capable of cutting through anything!

Lie Yang thrust with his left hand.

Sizzle!

The Lightning Release kunai struck Susanoo's spine.

The four-meter-thick green bones immediately erupted with blinding lightning. The rapidly vibrating electric blade crazily sliced through the ocular-power shell, scattering large amounts of chakra fragments.

Shisui felt the impact from behind him, but his expression swiftly calmed.

"It's useless."

"Susanoo's bones are not ordinary chakra."

"The complete bones of the first stage are four meters thick. No matter how powerful your Lightning Release is, you cannot pierce through it in one strike."

Lie Yang did not answer.

If one strike could not pierce through, then he would keep going.

Shisui controlled Susanoo to turn around.

Two massive skeletal fists smashed toward his back at the same time!

Lightning flashed beneath Lie Yang's feet, and his body vanished from the spot.

Boom!

The crossed fists struck nothing.

A streak of azure lightning rapidly rose along Susanoo's left side.

Lie Yang stepped across the thick ribs, changing direction repeatedly. Every time he paused, the Lightning Release kunai in his hand stabbed into the green bones.

Sizzle!

The first lightning scar appeared along the side of a rib.

Then came the second, the third, and the fourth in rapid succession!

"Too fast!"

Kurenai Yuhi could only see azure lightning continuously flashing around the green skeleton.

Every time the blade rang out, large amounts of ocular-power fragments exploded from Susanoo's surface.

Ocular power continued to flow from Shisui's eyes.

The damaged bones began repairing themselves.

But before the previous scar could fully heal, Lie Yang had already stabbed several times in other locations!

"Right side!"

Kakashi shouted a warning.

Shisui controlled his right fist to sweep across.

Lie Yang had already disappeared from his original position.

Lightning curved around the fist and landed on Susanoo's shoulder bone.

The kunai stabbed in.

The electric blade sliced.

A wound half a foot deep instantly appeared on the shoulder bone's surface!

"Behind you!"

The green giant fist smashed down again.

Lie Yang leaped from the spine to the ribs on the left.

Lightning Body Flicker erupted in succession.

Within a single second, he changed positions around Susanoo seven times!

Shisui's fists relentlessly pursued the lightning.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Each time a fist fell, vast depressions exploded across the ground. The plain shook continuously as shattered stone and dirt shot into the sky, while fierce winds endlessly tore apart everything nearby.

Might Guy stood in front of Kurenai Yuhi and Kakashi.

"Keep retreating!"

The three of them withdrew a hundred meters in one breath.

Even from that distance, they could still clearly feel the tremors beneath their feet.

Kurenai Yuhi watched the green skeleton continuously swing its giant fists and felt every battle she had experienced in the past seem incomparably insignificant.

"Is this really a battle between ninjas?"

No one answered.

Blood continuously flowed from Kakashi's left eye, yet he refused to look away.

Under the observation of his Mangekyō Sharingan, he saw more clearly than the others.

Shisui's Susanoo was being destroyed.

Lie Yang was not fixated on any one spot.

The spine.

The shoulder bones.

The ribs.

The arms.

Every suitable place to land and attack was being sliced apart amid the high-speed movement of Lightning Body Flicker.

Shisui's ocular power could indeed repair Susanoo.

But its repair speed could not keep up with Lie Yang's rate of destruction!

In barely a dozen breaths, the once-intact green skeleton was already covered in dense Lightning Release scars.

Some had cut only a few inches deep.

Others had already penetrated deep into the bones.
